Are we going up?

The other day Rudy said we were 250-1 to win the league.

I put £10 on at 150-1.

Decent odds for a team on a roll.

  • Actually the new Bolton is go one up, miss 27 chances then defend for last 25 minutes potentially with 10 men and pretty certain with a non goal keeper in nets after Gilks injures himself knee sliding

Talk about a week being a long time in football.  With 10 minutes to go at Mansfield they were 2 pts above us with a game in hand, top of the form table and looking at play offs.  A week later we're 1

  • Still have every faith. Not even arsed we lost today. Had to lose somewhere and now is the right time to do it. I think Maddison needs a couple of starts.

The Newport match will be the most difficult imo

Shit pitch, plus having not played this weekend they will essentially have had two weeks to prepare for the next run of games

Newport not had a new pitch layed?

9/2 3rd favs to win it on skybet (Cheltenham 13/8 and Cambridge 7/2).

1/2 for promotion!

I believe that includes potential playoff chances; 5/6 to finish in the top 3

(Tramps 6/4, FGR 9/4, Morecambe 5/2)

Tempting

Its tempting in the sense that if we face it up, I'm at least 200 dabs better off.

Never cash out 🤓

@Rudywouldn't let me

My wife says that cashing out is for wimps

The Cheltenham loss to Morecambe will have influenced that.

Had they won, I would imagine a different scenario.

My cash outs are adding up to £460ish. Holding firm.

The next round of fixtures are massively in our favour and if we win as we should and with other teams facing each other then the cash out will increase again.

Worried about the goal difference, we now need a couple of big score lines.

I remember us missing the automatic on GD and having to play a shitty team that only just scraped into the mix at Wembley.

The next season was totally crap

I doubt it will go to goal difference to many top teams playing each other. The only worry for me is more injuries to key players, Santos, Doyle, Lee and Williams being key.

Plus Baptiste, John and Jones

Wouldn’t want any of current 12/13 key players injured, and you can  add those 3 in as key, but bit less of a worry for me.

We're probably thin on substitute central defenders but okay in midfield and attack. At least we had a goalie on the bench today.

Still have nightmares about Tranmere at Wembley.

Need a couple of 3 or 4 nillers

You're probably right, sqeezed it right up, Morecambe away at this moment in time is looking like a big game.

It is indeed. They play Cambridge on Friday.

Maybe a draw would be a preferred result.

7 wins from 9 is more than possible and that will suffice

This squad from day 1 - pissed it

Wouldn’t have got us at 100/1 if that was the case though, so swings and roundabouts 🤣

Trampmere's next 2 games could see them drop like a stone!

Pretty please, with a big fookin' cherry 🍒  on top!

I'm actually enjoying that we've given them all a half season start.

It's a bit like the piss- taking at school where you hop about telling folk you'd win this playing on one leg.

It certainly has been good watching us rise up the table over the last few months.

still work to do though

6 from 9 will do.

Given all the head to heads, 81 points will get 3rd imo.

It's happening

I’ve just had a quick flick through each of the top teams fixtures and I have Cambridge 82, Cheltenham 80, Tranmere 79, FGR 79, Morecambe 79.

That would mean 80 (5 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses) gets us promoted

83 wins the league (6 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss)

We’re gonna win the league!
