No idea mate ... I do find it odd 15m Democrats sat this one out though.

Well this one has aged well

The claim has been echoedby some on the left, who have falsely suggested that there were suspiciously fewer votes in 2024 than 2020 and that Harris should not have conceded the race.

The claims were false. When all votes are counted, more than 157.5m people will have voted in the presidential election, according to an estimate by the New York Times. There were 159.7m ballots counted in the 2020 election.

I don’t want us to introduce the death penalty in the UK no.

Looking forward to the incoming ‘you defend child murderers’ post 😁

It is a difficult one tho.

I mean that Southport Islamist, killed 3 little girls and stabbed multiple others.

Surely everyone wants to see that wanker in the gas chamber, no?

There’s only you who has mentioned defending or respecting child killers (or any killers), I asked if you’re happy for them to have some kind of life, your previous  post suggests you are. You should have just said that when I asked.

Are you saying that you have to count all votes to calculate turn out not just what someone says on Twitter?

I get the emotive response in cases like Southport. But state sponsored murder just doesn't sit well with me.

It's also where you draw the line on where someone gets life or killed. Anyway, it ain't happening in this country, in my lifetime at least.

Aged well 😂

It was fact when it was posted.

Harris 69M - Biden 81M

So only a tiny 12M difference ... better than 15 I suppose.

You can add 12M thickos to the list of Trump supporters.

Extremist nonsense

Time will tell which of it he endorses, he was never going to in his campaign

Nah ... you just said it was bonkers.

Which bits don't you agree with?

Of course

Doesn’t mean we should use any atrocity as a reason to adopt the death penalty though

The roll backs of all green & climate policies at a time when every expert is saying we have to do the opposite…

The dismantling of education institutions

The Christian fundamentalist policies

Want me to carry on? Thought I’d already said this

You can keep repeating yourself mate 😄 do crack on.

Disagreeing with the introduction of death penalty doesn’t mean what you’re saying. You know there’s more nuance to it than that. But you love your black & white arguments.

Would you be happy for one of your children to die if they were wrongly convicted of murder?

Well it does. You see people like the Rigby killers, the Southport killers etc etc have absolutely nothing to give back to society (maybe a few organs) whilst at the same time costing millions, I and many other would be happy for them to be done with. You, for whatever reason are happy for them to have some kind of life. That’s the bottom line.

See my previous post.

So you'd be happy for yourself or a relative to be killed for a wrongful conviction. 👍 You can't have it both ways. 🤷‍♂️

Were the Rigby killers wrongly convicted? Dale Creegan?

Would you be happy for your kid to be jailed for a crime they didn’t commit?

I’d rather let them rot in prison than give them the easy way out.

3 square meals a day, TV, gym etc, costing millions and taking up much needed cell space. Balls to that, get rid.

No (as far as I know), and no.

But at least if one of my kids was wrongly jailed, justice might eventually prevail. If they're executed, that chance doesn't exist.

And I know you're thinking "We'll only kill people who we're 100% CERTAIN are guilty!" like the examples you gave. But we were 100% CERTAIN about the people we executed in the past who ended up being innocent. And it is inevitable that it would happen again. And it could be you. Or worse.

Fuck it let’s just not jail them then if they can’t be 100%!
