I don't remember seeing any good camera views of Collymore's beating , just distant footage sadly.

Yep. It still fits, Glennon there says "he followed him into the toilets".

It's OK laughing about it but he could easily have killed him, or given him permanent brain damage.

It happened too often with him. You'd worry that sooner or later he'd be bang in trouble.

That said, the Collymore fight was a thing of beauty. I was told he actually made a decision to punch him. No 'heat of the moment' thing. He also decided that as he would be sent off, & realistically could only be sent off once, that he'd give him a proper going over. ... & he blooming did.

Apparently Todd did Brown in the toilets but went back for a second go which was stopped by JP otherwise it could have been more serious.

Brown initially started legal action and Toddy senior was quoted at the time as saying "I'm surprised that he wants all this to come out".  That ties in with what I heard at the time, that Browny had made a derogatory remark about Todd's brother(?) who had learning difficulties
