Makes no difference to me, I’m not a football fan, I’m a Bolton Wanderers supporter, couldn’t care less about anyone else and have no interest in watching them, my love is my club.

  • May be on my own here but I want em to go and be expelled. The talent fucks off when the money goes bump (oh well as Bolton fans we should be ok with this)  The money lost rekindles the inte

I’ll consider myself unofficially reprimanded

Looking more and more of a play to break up the Prems dominance in Europe this, by the Spanish clubs.

Players need to grow some balls.

It’s not on them to do something about it, they didn’t even know about it.

There you go then. Nay balls.

My mate who’s a dirty red said he’s gonna become a Wanderers fan, I told him to get to fuck, he made his choice he can live with it.

They're not welcome.

No one knows anything all speculation, I have a mate at Liverpool and they’re the same, and the players have  been told not to speak to the media or post things on social media and basically carry on as normal

even Marcus Rashford?  as it seems some people are desperate to hear his thoughts on the matter

Has he not said anything on it?

Are the Prem clubs overly dominant in Europe?

Look at the CL, only 2 English winners in the last 10 years (6 from Spain, 2 from Germany)

UEFA Cup, only 3 English winners in the last 10 years (6 from Spain, 1 from Portugal)

Clearly the Spanish are the dominant force in Europe

Financially, massively.

Look at the debt Real are in.

Who’s the new big 6 then when these are booted out?

Villa, Newcastle, Everton, Leicester, Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton maybe?

Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Derby, Wolves, Sunderland, Sheffield Utd, even Wanderers. Ipswich, Norwich, West Ham, Portsmouth? We have many clubs, bigger and more recent winners, than some wanting to break away. Why the doom and gloom, piss them off and the sooner the better. I can’t understand all this negativity about football being destroyed in this country. Not at all, it can be the best thing that’s happened to domestic football since the PL (Greed League) was formed. Time to reset, get away from the grotesque and ridiculous wage levels, reduce entry prices so young people can afford to attend and look how we can move to the German, fan owned structure. Let’s not see this as a backward step but a positive move forward. It’s sad to lose these big clubs history but they are businesses before football clubs these days and I don’t blame them for their moves to look after themselves and their interests. It’s what businesses do.

And Barca.

The PL is the most profitable league in the world bar absolutely none.
Id imagine Real and Barca are the ring leaders here with United and want more of a champions league slice of the pie because of their history but that’s not how it works.
I suspect Chelsea and City didn’t want to be left behind.

Spurs and Arsenal just want the money, same as Liverpool if their skint rumours are true.

Please mistress, may I have another, I've been a very naughty boy,!!!

that's fair enough, but that financial dominance hasn't got down to winning trophies yet, although I suspect that might have been about to change

I'm actually interested to see what will happen - it's OK saying, kick them all out, and move on. If the EPL did kick out the "big 6" then pretty much every remaining club in the division would be going bust or close to pretty quickly, when the next TV deal is done (whenever that is) - and it would be the same in Spain as well.

I suspect there will be some sort of fudge done, there always is, and these "big" teams will be allowed to compete in both set ups, with the promise of a trickle down of the money, that may or may not happen. It'll be interesting to see what the 14 PL clubs come out and say today

There is a lot of talk about people playing in this Super League may not be allowed to play in World Cups.......will they be bothered though? - the money sloshing about would be immense, so the best players could easily be looking at £500K per week, every week for 4 or 5 years of their contract, or earn half or a third that and hope you qualify for a tournament and play more than 1 or 2 games in it.......money talks ultimately.

There's still plenty left to run in this, and it's great that they've announced it at this stage of the season, just before a major tournament - it's going to come down to who blinks first UEFA/FIFA or the "European Super League"  -  if I was to have a bet, I'd go with UEFA being the ones to buckle, which would be a shame, a real shame, but without those teams then UEFA suffers financially as well
