I've got no bias against him or "any issue against the poster who posted up the video", I just don't like Lineker getting away with pretending he's been hard done to

The post asked people to focus on the sentiment and not the person saying the words.

You didn't.

You did the exact opposite.

And Lineker never mentioned about being hard done by or anything else in the video, just the sentiment that one would have hoped we all would agree with.

The internet is meant for fun (at least that's how I view it) not to hold petty little vendettas or grudges.

I agree with you UK prisons are probably too soft (although to add I’ve not seen first hand!)…..but at the end of the day they are for convicted criminals who have been tried and found guilty by a fair and independent judiciary system.

Like I said - they've not released any details - so nobody knows.

He might be Hamas. He might not.

But even if he was Hamas and HAD been behaving in a way which is prohibited by the Geneva convention. The answer wouldn't be for a democratic nation to behave in the same way.

I hold Israel to a higher moral standard than I would somebody from a terrorist organisation.

And I think things like the Geneva convention are what is supposed to separate US (Western liberal democracies) from THEM (terrorists).
