I could if Israel were using tactics to destroy Hamas tunnels. How do you destroy tunnels from bombing buildings from the air with basic munitions?

I understand the outrage though, the Hamas terrorists murdered and raped countless innocents in their rampage into Israel.

But to understand the whole issue you have to go a long way further back than the 7th October but also understanding the atrocities made.

If I was an Israeli I would find it hard to forgive.

If I was a Palestinian in Gaza or the West Bank (which you seem to ignore btw) I would it hard to forgive also.

The West Bank is continuously ignored in the whole conversation, because it doesn't fit the Israeli narrative.

Hamas are holed up in Gaza, let's blanket bomb the West Bank.

Interesting reading the opinion polls coming out of America and the UK lately. Sympathy for Palestine has grown significantly and it is only a matter of time before we see this influencing political decisions and allegiances. It will be interesting what Israel do when they can no longer rely on blank cheques and support from their usual allies.

The bombing stops as soon as Hamas put up the white flag or are exterminated. There is no other route to stop Hamas killing israelis and the subsequent retaliatory attacks.

Those are the very reasons why so many Israelis were, and are protesting. Very concerned over the direction of travel of some of their politicians.

Wholesale adoption of such extreme sentiment would potentially reap repercussions from allies, even if they weren't particularly overt.

Anyone who has followed this latest series of events closely knows what’s happening on the West Bank, just watch the news.

I doubt they’ll stop removing folk without external pressure from the US.

If you weren’t blinded by your hatred of Israel you’d see the only way this latest set of tragic events gets sorted is to deal with hamas first and if they can be removed,  then I expect Palestine will be better place.

I’m all for pressure and sanctions put on Israel until they stop stealing land and If necessary land given back.

On a separate note, it's interesting looking at the different pro-Palestine movements within Israel itself. 

I didn't know that Jews will often use antisemitic insults such as "Hitler" against each other. Not that that excuses it when non-Jewish people do, maybe that explains why some people think it's okay. 

These Israeli police look like a lovely bunch. Some of our Gammons over here would get a hard on seeing our coppers do this.
