Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

Israel PM telling people in Gaza to get out before they unleash their revenge

Where's he expecting them to go?

Stand in the sea for a bit I presume.

Unless you've got the relevant documents to get out then you'd be fckn terrified right now.

There’s an entire planet to live on, yet the 3 main religions have chosen to all base their entire nonsensical bollocks on one square kilometre in a dusty shithole called Jerusalem.

It’s fucking mental.

They all want to be there, and they all hate each other.

Crawshaw is on to something. Get all the heads of the religions together and make them fight for it, toe to toe, shirts off, in a boxing ring near the wailing wall or some other pile of rubble that means nowt.

this will calm down by next week and the whole pathetic mess will just continue ad nauseum.

Far too simplistic to decree its religion only. I’d say money is the main root as well as many other things.

We need to build a big hologram in secret made to look like God

Then set it up to appear somewhere important, perform some magic tricks to prove they are god

And say "hello, I'm god, can you all stop fucking around please"

If as they all claim they believe in God, then they will calm down

To the areas of Gaza Hamas don't have military assets

He wasn't so helpful

He just told people living in used Gaza to leave before they turn it into rubble

Hamas are a bunch of cunts and know by deliberately sticking their assets amongst the regular folk any retaliation from Israel will put their people in danger and cause condemnation for Israel across the globe.

Israel play right into Hamas' hands by doing exactly that.

They all spawned from essentially the same people way back in history.

As did different branches of Islam.

No one going to back down on that, and so long as one lot doesn't believe another has a right to exist then bollocks will ensue perennially.

Sadly, it's already spilling out into the streets here, with extra met police out and Palestinian folk were celebrating openly.

Clip of these fuckers delaying my travels.

Nah, the IDF are pretty clear in telling Palestinian civilians where they need to go to avoid the bombing

Fair enough

Can't say they weren't warned

Do they get to go back to their houses after? Assuming they are still there

I'm not sure what alternative they have

Not sure blowing the shite out of civilian areas is a good choice. It's not a good situation either way but to be seen as the 'good guys' you can't play into the terrorists hands by using the same tactics and killing a load of innocents.

On BBC World News earlier it was saying that Israel took out one building that had the internet providers in, so putting it on twitter or X may not be that helpful 😃

They have to try and stop a terrorist organisation intent on destroying their citizens and their entire race

The Isreali army does what it can to protect civilian lives by giving advance warning of their military operations

As for "the same tactics", the Isreali army isn't deliberately murdering and raping civilians, nor holding families captives and forcing them to witness the executions of their family members

The warning will have been given prior to any bombing

How much time was there between the warning and the bombing though

And that assumes everyone is on twitter

Enough time as Isreal could plausibly provide

Of course they can.

If those terrorists hide their stuff amongst general folk, then attack other general folk, kidnapping and murdering them, then what option does that give the Israelis?

Sit back and do nowt?

They'd rather have dead Palestinian public than dead countrymen and you can't blame them.

If the Palestinians want support then they should keep working on highlighting the Israeli occupations (over which they have a lot of justified support) and if necessary pick military targets.

By not doing they lose any moral authority and can have no complaints if they get twatted.

Obviously you know more about this than me and I'm just asking as a layman

That tweet was posted at 12.59am today, I was watching the news in Greece at around 8am same day

So similar time to probably what it would be there, overnight, doesn't seem like giving a great deal of notice for innocent people to get out

The building had already been taken out according to the news when I saw it in the morning

The Israel/Palestine conflict is a hot potato and both sides seem intent on fucking the other up and no real interest in funding a peaceful solution.

If the Israeli government stopped the occupation tactics and cutting of services to Palestine they'd get more sympathy for the actions of Hamas. And if hamas stopped the terror tactics they'd get more support for their cause.

Obviously that tweet won't have been the only warning or the only medium in which it was relayed

But regardless, there's only really so much Isreal - or indeed any country - can do to protect civilians in areas the enemy is based when at war

They aren't ever going to because it's an explicitly terrorist organisation
