Can’t believe you’ve had to clarify that. Whatever the differences between the two parties and there are many, Hamas are terorrists, plain and simple. The atrocities carried out by them over the last 36 hours are horrific. Many countries are showing support for Israel as can be seen from the photo. Any chance London will do the same?

Hamas are terrorists and their actions have rightly been condemned.

The Israeli Government has acted very badly over the years but that is no excuse for Hamas to kill and kidnap innocent people.

It's a right mess that no side (plus interested other parties for both sides) seem willing to even come close to backing down.

I think Hamas are a terrorist organisation, but I presume this lot would claim to be supporting Palestine, which they're allowed to do.

The Israelis are fighting for their very existence. (again) Hamas could not give one shiny shit about Palestine. It’s a Holy war backed by third parties to create destabilisation. The whole world should be behind Israel.

You can be behind Israel but also feel for innocent people losing their lives. Not everyone in Palestine agrees with Hamas, far from it. Israeli Government has been very harsh with the population of the West Bank especially. Its an awful situation.

You’re taking the BBC stance of impartially. Look at the geography. Can you imagine a country surrounded by political and religious hostility? I can’t but I can see the outright barbaric actions by religious and political zealots. It’s easy to say it’s  a long way from here, not that it should matter but when you see support here on our streets, it becomes very scary. 
I wonder who Oswald Mosley would be supporting in this conflict? He had demonstrations on the streets. Makes you think.
