Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

They will work with Israel. They just won't work with the GHF.

They UN also say that the GHF model violates basic humanitarian principles of neutrality and are on the record as saying the the GHF plan amounts to "engineered scarcity" and the "weaponsisation of aid". They've also said on record that it amounts to "an abomination that humiliates and degrades desperate people" and "a death trap costing more lives than it saves" 674 since they began operations in late May.

The UN also don't want to be part of a programme which is widely seen as part of Israeli efforts to corral Palestinians in the southern part of Gaza.

This is all publicly available information and widely reported, so anybody with even a passing interest in what's happening in Gaza would understand. Whether they agree with it or not.

When I originally said “let’s hope the UN gets its are in gear and gets this delivered” you and London both came on and said why the UN won’t deliver it. 24hrs after these pictures came out and the media were invited to look 100s of trucks of aid were picked up and delivered from that very spot. 🤷🏻

Great! Presumably they managed to negotiate being allowed into Israel without having to work alongside (and legitimise) the GHF. And I don't think I said they won't deliver it. I think I said they won't work alongside the US/Israeli efforts (ie the GHF).

But frankly - who gives a fuck what me or London said on a football forum. There's people starving to death while you prattle on about the nuances of a hastily written post, that's now over a week old. It's hardly like I'm writing a dissertation and handing it into an academic is it, Professor Royal 🙂

The UN are currently operating a (vastly reduced) aid operation in Gaza having being banned from entering for 4 months. They have described this as being comparable to a "lifeboat after the ship has sunk".

There we go - are we now in agreement?

Another one? Becoming quite regular these when you post things that aren’t correct. 😉

It was correct. You'll have to dig out the original post out if you want to prove otherwise.

I can't be arsed. You might be right. I don't think you are. Either way it's irrelevant to whether or not people are dying of hunger in Gaza.

Again.

One would certainly hope so. To be fair he's said it WILL happen - just not at this moment in time. So it wouldn't really be a U-turn anyway.

Nothing wrong with U-turns according to some. He’s meeting Donald tomorrow. He’ll tell him what to do.

I thought it looked a bit odd when  both the kids mother and brother looked well fed.

It’s been reported by multiple reliable sources. Mainly on X.
Ironically, the photo on the front page of the Daily Express will have more of an impact.

Ahhh - that's sorted it then.

It's all the UN's fault.

As you were everyone! 🤪

The lengths he’s now going to, to avoid criticising Israel.

Actually mildly entertaining - his incoherent rambles about when the UN have & haven’t been involved, using COGAT as evidence 😂

Lost the plot a bit. Bless

You can use the UN as an example as well. What is entertaining is you getting all giddy over an express picture. A media outlet that I’ll guarantee you have slagged in the past. Maybe you should have stuck to your earlier views on them.

Out to make a few quid.

he's not said he won't, just looks like he's doing things his way, from that article:

Recognition of a Palestinian state has to be one of those steps. I am unequivocal about that. But it must be part of a wider plan which ultimately results in a two-state solution and lasting security for Palestinians and Israelis

Yeh. His way is waiting to see what Donald says tomorrow.

Can you point to where I got 'giddy' over an Express picture?

I wish the pair of you would get a fucking room.

The only sensible position really.

As has been said repeatedly before, until its religious nutjob neighbours accept Israel's right to exist, then Israel and its main allies aren't going to go the whole hog.

It's an awkward position for any British PM to be in.

I'd love one but all the migrants have taken them.

So I'm stuck on here

I think Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan do accept Israel is here to stay. Iran and Lebanon less so obviously. But, until Israel stop taking land illegally in the West Bank and Hamas is in Gaza it's all fucked.

Really?

The World Health Organization has warned malnutrition has reached "alarming levels" in Gaza with rates on a "dangerous trajectory" after aid airdrops resumed to the Strip.

The WHO, with expertise across the board and people on the ground, say it how it is. Yet people are more interested in their Twitter cesspit.

Even the post shared above accepts that his condition has worsened since the war started. Severely disabled children & adults will be some of the first to suffer in this conflict. Not sure how the media showing a disabled child is evidence the situation is being exaggerated.

Israel are directly responsible for people dying (unnecessarily) from starvation. There is no denying that. Yet people are still trying.

Should probably be clear that we're talking about the Iranian regime and Hezbollah. Not everyone who lives in these countries think like them.

Either way, I've no idea why these regimes thinking like this is an excuse for Israel committing ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and Gaza? Can someone explain why it's okay for Israel to take more land of Palestinians because a totally different country hates them? Especially when those countries don't have much capability when it comes to targeting Israel

Whatever it takes to cut out the cancer.

Yep. United Nobheads. Fucking ridiculous that they would (allegedly) let people starve. Like their allies Hamas, more interested in gaining political capital with brain dead fucking morons marching in capital cities around the world waving Palestinian flags and wearing those fucking stupid looking scarves. Handy in a sandstorm in London though.

The masses continue to swallow the BS churned out by woke lefties.
