Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

Not sure, armed forces perhaps but not the IDF because they're inclined to shoot them for the sake of it

These things must always happen during war, how do they normally deal with it effectively?

You can’t say that! You will be ridiculed by the experts on here.  But yes you’re right. In Iraq the yanks used a mixture of military and private military, similar to what’s being used now. The same in Afghanistan. Once a local military was trained up then they took over, though I doubt there’s any plans to train up a Palestinian army.

So what have we learnt?

That starving civilians act desperately in order to get food. Shock horror. Were we expecting an orderly lunchtime Post Office cue, with everyone calmly waiting their turn ?

That a massively weakened Hamas will also access some of the food. Sure they will. That's no reason to go back to butchering civilians collecting aid and blocking it going in though.

Hopefully there are people up high up in the IDF and Israeli cabinet who are one punished for letting it get to this state.

In the meantime, flood the strip with food; keep doing so until everyone has access and a military presence to do so. The chaos will subside the more food people have.

Israel need to also release the doctors they've locked up without trial and allow the evacuation of those who require treatment for malnutrition.

How are you policing what occurred in that video?

Difficult isn't it. Peacekeeping military required. You're not going to have order right away. Has anybody been shot yet?

You ease the situation by flooding the strip with food and ensuring everyone has everything they need. Even with extremists in power in Gaza, people still tended to have enough food and nutrition.

Hamas was never a reason to deny millions of their basic rights. How did it get to this?

We've just heard from Save the Children Humanitarian Director Rachael Cummings, who spoke to the BBC News channel from Deir al-Balah, Gaza.

She was at a clinic yesterday and says every child there was malnourished, and every adult - including her team - is "desperately thin".

Cummings says families have protected children throughout the war so far, with children usually fed first.

But she says these coping mechanisms are now "completely exhausted", and the fact that children are starving is a "yardstick" for all of Gaza being at risk of starvation.

She adds that her team have been in tears over how much needs to be done in Gaza and how limited they are in what can actually be achieved.

Cummings is calling for a sustained delivery of humanitarian supplies, so UN teams can distribute aid safely.

I'm going on holiday to Prague for 4 days.

I expect this mess cleared up by the time I arrive home on Friday. You absolute useless set of bastards! 😁

Basically you allow people to eat the food they need to survive and they don’t fight over it & steal as much.

Hardly rocket science 😂

enjoy Prague mate

So it appears people have issues with queuing now. Those bastards. Have they never been on rubber dingy rapids in August? Its a nightmare but its always very orderly.

That's a bloke making tea.

Donald Trump told Israel to allow “every ounce of food” into Gaza as he acknowledged for the first time that there is “real starvation” in the region. The US president contradicted Benjamin Netanyahu after the Israeli prime minister claimed it was a “bold-faced lie” to say Israel was causing hunger in Gaza.

Even ThE DoN isn’t sharing videos of takeaways & blaming the UN.

Hamas and looters like this

Is your night shift that boring that makes you so bored you'd rather make yourself look a right tit every evening? Is that self entertaining to show yourself up?

I'd get a new job.

You’d have thought that even with Trumpy finally admitting the starvation in Gaza that’s happening in plain sight, and saying that Israel is not letting enough food through, that those in his cult would follow suit. Not on this site apparently.

Who’s denied starvation on here?

“Depressing nonce” 😂😂

Someone’s a bit rattled.

What do you do when even your number 1 American fan boy is accepting Israel are responsible.

Don’t feed anyone in Gaza because Hamas & looters are about 🙄

First the express and now Trump, You’ll be supporting Tommy next.

Flood Gaza with food. Superb, what do you genuinely think will happen to the trucks?

The US have said they'll set up food centres

If they do I suspect it would be like what you described earlier in Iraq where they're ran by their military and private military

I then expect they'd take responsibility for making sure the trucks and the food reached those food centres

If they don't there's no point in setting up food centres

Another take on things.

Confusion amongst some turns to applause.

Haha

It’s just quite entertaining hearing everybody other than yourself accepting the blatantly obvious fact that Gazan’s require a lot of food sending in.

That’s all well and good but how long will that take? Could be days, could be weeks. They need food now, flooding the country with UN trucks will just see more looting.

Glad you find it funny. Yes they require food, no one has denied that, you’ve just made it up. I asked what do You think will happen to The UN trucks. I’ll give you a clue, it’s already happened to the vast majority.

Intelligent man cutting no corners.

I have long held the view that all this using Palestine as a motive for attacks on Israel and international terrorism is bollocks. It's the realisation that they backed the wrong horse a couple of thousand years ago and have ended up driving around on donkey drawn carriages whilst the other fairy tale option lot are now capable of commercial space travel. That's the real motive. Envy - allied to a fanatical commitment to not acknowledge the bad choice they made and suffer loss of face.

The Palestinians are just their pawns in the game.
