Reports that Hamas are sending back the civilians trying to move south as directed by Israel for their safety. The 24 hour warning isn’t enough in my opinion by the way. Egypt could help by opening their border but they are frightened of Hamas entering their territory. It really is a mess.

It's not just religion but also territory. Unfortunately there are killings ongoing in the west bank between settlers and that area isn't controlled by Hamas.

I can't help but wonder if complete rethink on borders is needed and some sort of UN corridor created to keep them apart.

It's a mess with no end in sight.
