Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

Again from the article, he says it goes back 5000 years.
I think most if not everyone agrees that Hamas has to be toppled. Others use different words. He also says that will involve collateral damage. That is something that many cannot either accept or tolerate. Very difficult when the Gaza Palestinians are used as human shields.

I don’t hate Muslims, I hate Muslim terrorists. I’ve probably got more Muslim friends than you.

Im the same.

However I completely despise their backward and stoneage religion and set of fundamental beliefs.

Their faith promotes hatred and radicalisation. It opposes homesexuality and women's rights. Even the big cheese was a pedophile and ages of consent mean nothing.

Islam has no place whatsoever in the western/modern world.

Imo.

The IDF haven’t said beheading didn’t happen, in fact soldiers testimonies have given evidence that it did. I’ll await independent verification on Jewish atrocities before I pass comment.

I can only assume I've missed something?  Because if I've not it seems you are not going to pass comment on soldiers beheading babies because you want to know what the other side have done?

I think some of the more moderate Muslims will disagree- I've heard them say that their religious texts promote getting on with others.

Not read it and won't so dunno, but there are clearly widely varying interpretations.

As there are with the Bible.

All a bit fucked up.

The independent Palestinian State:

The Arabs were offered an independent state as they were our allies who helped us defeat the Ottoman Empire and we promised them Arab independence in return. For a brief time they had a watered down form of it - "Mandatory Palestine" !920 -49 even though they didn't run it themselves and although there were very few Jews in the area during the previous 400 years of Ottoman rule it became a vehicle for wave after wave of Jewish immigration from Europe. We fucked them over royally and the following explains why they refuse to accept Israel:

Israel as a state will be held accountable to the Geneva convention , who’s holding hamas to account?

Israel by the looks of it?

Indiscriminate bombing and cutting of basic supplies is not "holding Hamas accountable" - it is punishing 2.3 million ordinary people.

They surely know who the Jihadists are and should be targeting them on the ground.

The key problem is that Islam only recognises Allah as the way.

Jews are proclaimed as the Chosen Ones.

Such views don’t leave much room for others.

Hinduism, for example, is more understanding of others, and believe in Jesus.

There’s some changing/growing up to be done.

How do you know they aren’t?

They've said earlier that they will stop the siege upon release of the hostages, so it’s in the hands of Hamas.

Blinken reiterated that it was critical that non-terrorists were looked after; I think Israel will want to be taking a moral route, to the extent possible.

Meaning not to comment on anything in this section except TV and films.

For this post however - I will post a THIS.

Islam also believes in Jesus and recognises him as an important prophet.

Catholicism and Protestantism are just as bad historically for starting religious wars and massacreing people who didn't share their views, the Inquisition for example.

The issue with Islam currently is that Imam's are allowed to put their own spin on the Koran - just as priests did before the Bible was printed in English.

The Koran itself is a relatively peace-orientated book - but like the Bible, it was a story/guidebook written for tribal societies a very long time ago so translating the messages into the modern world has a lot of scope for corruption.

They've already killed a dozen or so UN workers and loads of people they were protecting and I'm sure they didn't intend that.

What should they do? (Let’s not include “not kill innocent civilians”)

What should they do to get rid of Hamas, bearing in mind that Hamas will be mingled with those innocent civilians?

Of course.

Targets are usually given a short period of notice, although not much (for obvious reasons). Can't be so clinical though with a bomb or missile so as to avoid civilians.

As I said before- why don't Hamas put their offensive equipment away from homes etc?

I find it odd that you want to hear from independent sources before you'll believe the Israeli army of indiscriminate bombing, yet choose to repeat the beheading claim that was rubbished by everyone, including the IDF 48 hours ago.

Undoubtedly c*nts on both sides like.

To be fair, I think @Mounts Kippergets a free pass on that one because Biden confirmed it last night, claiming he'd seen "confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children"

The White House has since confirmed he hadn't, but I suppose that's one of the downsides of electing geriatrics to high office

Just imagine how much better the world would be without religion.

Hopefully it will be the case one day… inshallah

Hence every single bit of it is complete made up bollocks.

Islam is the biggest pile of bollocks in the whole set and easily the least tolerant and divisive.

Its 300 years behind all the other set of fairytales.

It's not, but there is a huge irony about it.

Loping babies' heads off is a pretty hideous war crime.

The practical situation is that aid does find its way to the torrorists- Japanese provisions apparently found on the body of a Hamas fighter- so the well meaning actions of organisations do have knock on effects.

Dunno what the answer is, but fwiw I reckon that once Israeli troops go in and establish 'a base', they will then open corridors for supplies.

Has that actually happened? I've only seen it mentioned on here rather than by any credible news source

But Israel bombing the shit out of that university saying it was Hama's training camp. Are they going share any proof it actually was

Otherwise they can go bombing whatever they like saying Hama's were there and nobody seems to question it

I still find it mad that kids are made to go to 'faith schools' in the UK in 2023.

It surely is. I’d ban all faith schools.

To be fair, The Old Testament isn’t very woke.

Israeli soldiers witnessed it. Irrespective of how they were killed, it's still unbelievably evil.

Anyway, just been reported that Israel has taken the unprecedented step of publicising evidence in it's "x" account.
