Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

Probably because with France and Ukraine it was blatantly clear that they'd not done anything wrong and they were the victims of baddies.  Whilst it's clear that a lot of innocent Israelis have died through no fault of their own, this situation is a lot more complex.

Whatever the FA decide to do or don't do they'll get a whole load of abuse from one side or another.

I’m pretty sure the Ukraine situation isn’t as straight forward as some would suggest. And if it is so complex then why would Number 10 have the Israeli flag projected onto it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway I agree with the FA, keep away from all the politics shite and not just now but in the coming weeks, months and years.

Do we all agree now that Hamas did murder babies.

do we agree that hamas are a set of cunts - yes

do we agree israel are going to murder (kill if you prefer) 1000s of innocents, mostly children, in breach of international law

do we agree that 95% of people killed in this dispute this year (pre the horrific events of last weekend) are palestinian

do we agree there are 250 illegal israeli settlements on palestinian land

do we agree israel are in breach of numerous UN resolutions

hamas are, as we know, terrorists

israel ought to operate to higher standards

Why dont we give Israel a nice bit of land in the US and start again

how it was ever thought to be a good idea defies belief

The Jews came from the Middle East they were nomadic folk, many have never left the Middle east and rightly belong and deserve to live peacefully amongst Muslims, Hamas wont allow that.

Hamas build HQ next to civilian areas so they act as a shield.

The rest of your points would be academic if Hamas stopped killing Jews.

Fuck me, Mounts is an expert on Hebrew history? That's great news, Mounts, perhaps explain to the class about The Levant area, and the reason for nomadic dispersion. I haven't read much about it so I'd certainly like to know and understand more.

i m not an expert but I have an opinion, of course NIC is an expert.

Easy enough to read more then, if you're genuinely interested.

It won’t tell you much. Not that he would know that.

I'm not, but you seem to be - I'd like to know more about the nomadic history.

I thought I'd ask our middle east expert first.

Always good to learn from someone who clearly knows more than me.

The gangs all here.

Is that because I'm a 'Bromley Labour Activist' that you make that assumption 😁

Anyway, BB's odd post aside, Mounts has a clear and strong opinion, clearer than I've heard from many an expert ive heard over the last week, he obviously knows a lot about the history, the region and the politics to form such a firm basis of this opinion. I'm no such expert, so I just asked if he could tell us all a bit more and then we'd all be a bit richer for his knowledge.

if they know exactly where Hama HQ is, why don't Israel use (or borrow if of the US if they need to) them dead accurate bombing devices where you can pretty much take out the exact target you want

like this

rather than bomb everything and end up like this

It is possible this might explain it.

His views on that particular piece yes. Certain it wasn't about the Jewish. Does this mean I agree with all of his views? Big difference to how you're trying to portray this. But this is what you do.

At the time I said I didn't know who he was. You know this but persist on bringing it up.

Odd but its expected from you.

You said I was a hypocrite mate. So I bit back 🙂 pointing out the hypocrisy of someone who sympathises with the views of Neo-Nazis in one post, then defends the Jewish occupation in the next.

We’re all hypocrites anyway, so it’s all good. For the record, I don’t have a side on this conflict. It seems you’re more in the Israel camp and that’s fair enough.

The guy in your video was talking absolute shite in the speech from start to finish. His backward party want to repatriate the UK so we’re all white and British. He’s a cunt and that came across clearly in the video you shared and praised him for👍

Isn’t Gaza one if the most densely populated places on Earth?

Think it’s  difficult to build owt not next to civilians.

Not a gang. Just sticking up for a fellow poster from your usual condescending attitude. Everyone has an opinion. Nothing in his post was incorrect. Why comment?

Because he's a Activist 😂

This is a photo of the rockets (Roman Candles someone called them) that Hamas are launching from Gaza. There are plenty of other locations that they have used. I suspect that they are now rubble. Hamas are terrorists who care as little for Palestinians as they do Israelis.

😁You're my hero BB, so galant.

Because as usual, its half truths, half understood, half read bollocks spouted as firm held reasons behind opinions. And folk such as yourself seem to take this as condensention to question these flimsy fugazi's of rationalising something that is so complex, so diffcult to find firm ground on that some of the greatest leaders, thinkers and academics can't reach a solution on. If Mounts is big enough to put himself up there, he's big enough to be questioned, like anyone is.

So, again Moral Maude, sorry to question your delicate sensibilities.

I believe that's BB's terminology for me, you'll have to ask him what he means by it.

There are plenty of comments on here. Some really odd. Why pick on that one? Nothing in that was half anything. Maybe you should have replied to the one he replied to.

He is an expert but has had the first three chapters of his text book ripped out. Shame as then he could give a more rounded view.

Hamas want as many Palestinians killed as possible, the more the better as far as they're concerned, as it just further plays into their hands (odd logic I know)

Because it was the one I read this morning - if you think I trawl through the pages of nonsense on this topic each day, then sorry to dissapoint you.

As for being an activist - it was more a reference to the fact you seemed to infer this as a degrogatory term which was the basis for me knowing nothing about your hot topic commute from Farnworth to wherever the other week.
