I’ve been saying since this first started “these things happen in war” the usuals say they don’t. I doubt any of them have checked the combatants to civilians ratio  in similar conflicts. Maybe they will come out of their echo chamber if they did.

According to reports Approx 10-15k are Hamas. No one likes to mention these though. It’s always 60k Palestinians have been killed,

Rocket launching sites, access sites etc all interconnected, and often situated in public areas, including inside private dwellings.

Booby traps/IEDs within them too.

An incredible set up really, and not an easily destroyed target.

Can you point to a recent conflict involving the UK & US where did any of the below?

- displaced an entire population 

- inflicted a man made famine on civilians,

- moved British settlements into the land & permanently evicted the local population 

- denied that nation the right to exist once the war had finished.

Precisely why Gaza City has to be taken. All of that infrastructure needs to be permanently destroyed.

Flooding the tunnels would be an option but for the hostages... that's why Hamas won't surrender them

Filling them in would take for ever.

Maybe DT could convert them to hotels- "Trump Tunnels"

Egypt did that with ones that came out into their country.

Before this conflict though I think.

Long term, that would be a solution in inner city areas of high population density.

"maybe"? They've already levelled massive areas. Have a look on google earth and compare the latest satellite images to those from a couple of years ago. Virtually the entire northern half of the strip is demolished.

And yes these things happen in wars was always in response into the death of civilians. Not sure why you need to use the U.K. and US as some kind of referencing point. It’s always happened in this kind of war and always will.

Of course civilians always die in wars. Nobody has ever denied that. You’ve used the UK & US as reference points before, what’s the issue with me doing the same?

Again then:

can you point to where western democratic nations have displaced an entire population ?

 Or caused an unnecessary famine during a recent conflict?

 Or denied the nation where they are fighting its future sovereignty & right to exist?

(& I’m not denying the US & UK have committed some atrocities fwiw) 

I doubt you’ll try to answer these questions. As doing so means accepting in some way that this isn’t just a typical war against terrorism, where civilians die. It isn’t as simple as Israel vs baddies. There’s different agendas at play.

To brush it all off as , ‘these things happen in wars’ just doesn’t cut & comes across as ignorant 👍
