What a cluster fuck this has been, outnumbered at home by a non league club… shameful and a new low.

Not the best time to introduce this new policy- perfect opportunity for those opposed to give it a miss.

A big game (eg Sunderland) might have persuaded more to sign up even if they didn't agree with it.

Shameful, what absolute rubbish.

Why is it shameful because no one really gives a fcuk about an FA cup 1st round game against a non league club

We had 16,000 home fans against Wigan, 16,000 against Rotherham, not far off 16,000 against MK Dons, plus some absolutely excellent away followings this season which IMO is outstanding support support for League 1. Just because very few are at all interested about Sunday should not result in anyone slagging off our support.

It could be free on Sunday and many including me wouldn't attend as I have absolutely no interest in a non league round 1 FA cup game, however the floating fans, the ones who may have done so at £10 a ticket can't because of this utter bollocks of a membership scheme.

Fucking hell Mick, please tell me your not set in your ways.

It's just shit with half a stadium open.

It's like the club can't be arsed.

We had 6992 on against Plymouth few years back think they brought 1200 ish so it will probably be the same home gate wise

Realistically less home support, as that was on a Saturday and presumably anyone could walk up and pay at the gate.

Sarcevic played in that one too, only 2 years ago.

Still the same number of fans.

As you stated before on the petrol thread- supply and demand.

No great demand, so no need to supply more seats than necessary. Makes sense.

Aye I know.

Still, I'm never going to a game in a half closed stadium ever again.

Did you vet dry bummed in the piss stones or something?

You wish

Nah, I've been in the past and it was bollox. It's just shit so I'll give em a miss in future.

Unless it’s something exceptionally shite - Pizza Plate games against U21s, I’m looking at you - I find it a little odd that people seem to actively go out of their way to avoid going to a Bolton Wanderers game. Couldn’t give a shit who were playing (U21s example excepted), I go to watch Bolton.

I don't go to pizza cup games, 7pm is no good for me.

Going Sunday though

Good on you m8; taking grandson to his game because my daughter is in Ireland or I would be there. We will be outnumbered by the non league team with the looks of it
