  • I'm in + 1. Not selling 5k tickets to 10k+ ST holders is piss poor, frankly. I don't give a shit about... it's only Stockport/the membership scheme/it's not free/it's on a Sunday etc etc

anyone know

when was the Last Time any None League  team brought 4/5 k

Yeovil? 6th Jan 2001 but cannot find any crowd details. We won 2-1.

Have we ever lost to a non-league team in the Cup? I can't recall any occasion.

No, but there is always a first time!

That’s the game when their ultras were larging it up around the stadium.

Yeovil and York games were in 3rd round, this must be biggest away following ever for a 1st round game, including league teams?

We made hard work of the York game, didn't score till 83rd minute and had a team including Cahill, Knight, Alonso, Petrov, Mark and Kev Davies, Klasnic,  rodrigo, Elmander.

Barrow brought quite a few to Burnden, but probably not 5 thousand.

They also had a few game lads & had a go on Manchester Road around 2.45pm, they were nowhere all afternoon but they came down out of the station late on and came straight across the road and ran into us on Manchester Road near the college. It wasn't anything major but they were up for it.

Grimsby had a few on a few years ago, might have been 3rd round as well

It was 1st round, they brought about 2k, they only occupied the lower tier, I do remember they made a load of noise though.  And played really well.

2 very strange occurrences.  Liam Trotter scored a header.  Grimsby's best effort was reportedly by Brandon Comley; unsubstantiated reports suggest he entered the opposition penalty area with attacking intent.

Finding both of those hard to believe.

No more than a thousand.

seen nothing like this from non league before, but it’s down the road, cheap as chips and they travel well.

It was nearer 3k than 1k.  There was 11,475 on which was more than double some of our league crowds (even though we got to the play offs) and that wouldn't happen without a big away support.

We took 10k to the next round, at OT.

Didn’t lincoln bring a fair few when non league a few year back.

Macclesfield for the replay? Didn't they fill lower tier?

With their 5k and our new membership scheme preventing casuals, they may have more on than us!! It will certainly feel like it with what we do have dispersed over the other 3 sides. 🥴

As long as we batter them I couldn’t care how many they bring

Not too sure a First round FA cup tie attracts many casuals with or without a membership scheme

Didn't know Paddy Madden played for these. Got more goal threats than we have!

Going to be a more difficult game than it should be I reckon.

It'll attract the horwich casuals for sure

It certainly didn’t seem that many from memory.

Whereas my memory suggests  that there was 3,000 minimum. We'll probably never know.
