We made hard work of the York game, didn't score till 83rd minute and had a team including Cahill, Knight, Alonso, Petrov, Mark and Kev Davies, Klasnic, rodrigo, Elmander.

They also had a few game lads & had a go on Manchester Road around 2.45pm, they were nowhere all afternoon but they came down out of the station late on and came straight across the road and ran into us on Manchester Road near the college. It wasn't anything major but they were up for it.

And played really well. 2 very strange occurrences. Liam Trotter scored a header. Grimsby's best effort was reportedly by Brandon Comley; unsubstantiated reports suggest he entered the opposition penalty area with attacking intent.

It was nearer 3k than 1k. There was 11,475 on which was more than double some of our league crowds (even though we got to the play offs) and that wouldn't happen without a big away support. We took 10k to the next round, at OT.
October 30, 20214 yr With their 5k and our new membership scheme preventing casuals, they may have more on than us!! It will certainly feel like it with what we do have dispersed over the other 3 sides. 🥴
