Ah I like it. Had our Dec's up for the half term week, outside as well. There's a local app that you sign up to so kids know you are a house doing trick or treating.  Good fun and watched some de

You didn’t? Then who was that? I’ve said too much

The rain isn’tstopping some little fuckers knocking on the door tonight

if a house has signs of folk celebrating then knock if not take your kids and piss off

The rule on our road is you only knock on houses with a pumpkin outside or in the window. A lot of elderly folk on the road so not nice for them.

Just put a sign on your door saying "Mobile beggers not welcome"

Miserable bastards

Just like most things these days, it's all done for social media, we now live in a world where people are obsessed with likes n retweets

We've got 3 pumpkins outside, the little one is dressed as a pumpkin, and were dishing out chocolate to all the trick or treaters

These events are much more fun with kids, we've loved the whole thing

'like'

Plus the dog is barking like fuck every time the door goes

Not had a single knock on the door or ring of the doorbell tonight. Absolute bliss. Although I did get some stuff in for next doors kids in case they came knocking but that’s getting tanned at 8pm if they’ve no come 👍🏼

Put some stuff outside the house to indicate “fair enough come and knock”. Only had really young uns tonight. Grandkids loved answering the door. No harm done. Weather seems to have put the real scutters off. Don’t have a problem with Halloween tbh but prob cos I now have grandkids

Eldest went with her Dad and the dog. Only went to houses that where decorated. Came back with loads. I've had about 8 kids. All said thankyou. If you don't like it fair enough, don't answer. Miserable bastards moaning about it though.

Had the Cadbury’s heroes and M&S Halloween specials ready. Just one knock on the door. About 10 kids (with their parents) and that was it.

Not something we did back in the day, Bonfire Night was the big thing for us but things change. My lads did it when they were young so I’m quite happy to enter into the spirit of it all.

Aye, first time with my little one

Wasn't sure at first, thought we'd be knocking on randomly but plenty families around it turns out, all with decorations, all with treats

She got loads and loved it, only went out for half an hour, got fucking soaked though

No where near as many as usual.

Pissing down, and maybe some covid worries.

Made mahoosive amounts of pumpkin pie and cake together with a large bad of sweets. Most of it untouched.

Had loads turn up - was a nice evening, no scroats.

The train station did a bit of a party to raise money, the only dampner was someone asked if the hot dogs were Halal (they weren't) then complained so they had to stop selling them.

Seemed a bit petty as its just something that the staff do for free out of their own time to raise money for local charities and bring the community together a bit.

Halloween is haram as it promotes sorcery.

So the complainer was already engaged in heresy attending the event.

If one is going to invoke religion then read the fucking manual.

Should've provided Tival Vegetarian Hotdogs - An Israeli Company.

See I thought that - if you are that bothered, don't attend a Halloween event.

Probably just a individual being a dick. I wouldn't have stopped serving them.

The issue here isn’t the fact someone complained. It’s the fact the staff stopped serving them because of it. Politely tell him to leave if he/she/bedside lamp doesn’t like it. If they refuse tell them aggressively to fuck off before you set fire to them and feed them to the pigs afterwards.

Tragic that folk bow down to shit like this

I don't think South Eastern Trains need the PR headache.

Genuine question what would happen, do you think , if south eastern trains were running a diwali event and someone turned up and complained? Do you believe that they would stop serving? Or would it be that they carried on and asked the person to leave as they didnt want the pr headache also? Genuinely interested to know what you think
