It wasn’t much as a kid, now it’s quite big, my daughter loves it so any reason to see a smile on her face will do for me.

The Shining is the best horror film.

My costume as a kid. If I put a bin liner on my eldest now she'd be ringing childline on me.

Another money-making scam, just like Christmas and Easter. But you can't not get involved if you've got kids. Can't wait till they grow out of it and I can fuck all this bullshit off for good. But at the same time, I wish they could be kids forever. Which is how the scam works.

I even know people who buy their kids Valentines cards and gifts, which is a level of Consumerist Insanity that goes way beyond any logic I am capable of understanding.

Why don't they push Bommy night? Because you can't buy containers of plastic Black Peas, old toxic fume sofas and Fireworks from China for 0.25p a unit then flog them for £4.

Last year in the communal bins a couple of days after it was loads of plastic shit from trick or treating, as far as I know there's only about three households with kids too.

Some of the plastic skulls and jack 'o' lanterns on plastic sticks were still flashing (meaning emitting intermittent light, not exposing their plastic genitals)...

It's a load of bollocks.

If we're going to import it - do it properly like the Yanks, not some highly flammable shit from B&M that ends up in the bin.

My kid would be going door-to-door begging dressed like this, the 'trick' would be an IED made of cat shit and some Black Cat Bangers.

Is there any single time of year that hasn't got dedicated shite aisles in the tat emporia?

Halloween, Black Friday, Christmas, New Year, Mother's Day, Easter, Spring/Garden Shit/Barbecues, Father's Day...

It's like the minute the shops shut Christmas Eve it's all fucking Holiday and bloody Sofa adverts, can't they give it a rest one fucking night?

Dropped my lads mate off at home this evening after taking them out for the day, and his parents queried what costume I was planning to wear tomorrow. I thought they were joking. Alas, they brought out their masks and costumes, and I had to grin and say how brilliant they were. Maybe I'm just a miserable fucker.

I was served by some grown man with dyed green hair earlier...

Maybe he just planned to shoot up a cinema later?

100% that couple wouldn't have costumes if they weren't on social media.

My niece went on holiday with another family a few years ago (probably paid for one of their brood an' all, I've had many cheaper breaks as a Pisscan adult) - she didn't need to take snaps, the whole fucking trip was broadcast to the world from the minibus to the airport onward (by the parents)...

I dressed up as Shaun out of Shaun of the dead tonight.

It cost me £2.50

I only did it as I bear a passing resemblance to Simon Pegg

Halloween is fucking nonsense but it’s harmless enough

Im mortal pissed

My kids must be very level headed then. They want to watch "scary" films and tell ghost stories.. Not interested in trick or treating, we were not allowed to as kids (think it's the Christian up bringing), and although my wife has let them do Halloween each year, this year they have lost interest.

It's a good job really as there is no way I'm taking them.

I'll get a bag of sweets incase any kids knock on,

Not sure it is a scam when folk actually buy the products, knowingly so.

Cheap plastic tat it may be, but that's the choice.

Little uns having a bit of fun is fine. Though some of them are greedy sods.

Older teenage twats smashing up displays etc can fuck right off.

Good fun and watched some decent horror films this week with them now they are old enough.

Anyway, here's the playlist for today,

Nice one, saves me sorting one for later 👍

I was dropping my daughter off at home last night and two adults in fancy dress were trying to cross the road, wobbling and laughing and falling about. One was dressed as a nurse in a shiny blue nurses uniform. When I was coming back 5 mins later a taxi was at the same place, doors open, hazards flashing and the driver looked like he was stuffing something the same colour as the 'nurses' uniform in the boot.

For a second I thought fuck me he's murdered her, so I did a U turn and had a sneaky drive by.

I am now happy to confirm he was just tidying his car after a Saturday night shift and the carrier bags he was using were nurses uniform blue.

The youngest absolutely loves Halloween and we had a party last night.

Adults got pissed whilst the kids played games.
