As things stand in each of the three leagues. Any predictions on who you think will go up, or anyone you really hope doesn't go up?

  • Not strictly true. There is a scenario where beating Fleetwood and a 5 goal swing in our favour would put us above Portsmouth. Portsmouth have got Sheffield Wednesday who need to win to guarantee

I’m watching it and nearly nodding off

Not one for the purists so far. Though it amazes me this game often is when you factor the size of the prize.

Nailed on pen.

How the var bloke didn't give that

And another!

Huddersfield getting shafted here.

That's a clear pen

Joe Worral then 🤣

Good to see a new face (recent era) in the Prem just like Brentford last year, having these yo-yo teams like Fulham and Norwich going up and down is rather boring.

shite from the var and ref like

Can't believe that pen wasn't given.

Overall, 3 fairly dull play off finals.  Team kicking towards the sunny end takes the lead in 1st half.  Opposition never look like equalising in 2nd half, a real lack of quality and difficult to remember any saves of note or near misses.

Added to the non event FA Cup final and poor Champions League final, that's 5 showpiece games that are easily forgotten if you weren't taking part.

Roll on the summer break and build up to next season.

Just heard a surprising stat on Sky.  Since the play offs were introduced over 30 years ago, only 3 finals have ever finished 0-0.  Huddersfield featured in all 3 of them. The boring bastards.

C'mon Forest

Had £10 on 0-0

Should've gone no goal scorer

Had my £24 I won off Vinny Junior fgs last night on... Huddersfield.

Fucking shite!

Used to work in Huddersfield and have a mate in Perth who is a big fan of 'Town' and 'Fartown' (some still call the RL club this and, of course Fart Town when I say it to him).

He must be wearing two black arm bands this weekend. Resisting the temptation to message him at present. I'll give him 24 hours :D

Pleased for Grimsby to get back in the league, where they should be, a proper club.  What an achievement, to be losing at Notts County in 94th minute, assist from keeper and won in E-T; losing at Wrexham with 20 to go and winning 5-4 AET;  losing in the final deep into 2nd half and winning their 3rd game running in E-T.  Nobody can say they didn't deserve it even if they finished miles behind Wrexham in the league.

fuck the fishy cunts
