There's fanbases plenty worse that will visit Villa Park this season.

They made up stuff to make them look like they were worse than they were so they could ban them.

The real threat was the local Muslim population.

Course they were a big problem. A fanbase with a reputation for hating Arabs are going to antagonise a local Muslim population. Do you think they wouldn’t ?

 They were as real a threat as the local Muslim population. Equally in my opinion. We’d have seen both sides at it. 

WMP were just too afraid to be specific and say the same about local Muslims. So I agree they should have. 
 

Whilst worse fanbases might come to the UK from Europe, or even around this country, the situation just doesn’t compare to this one for me.

the police didn't fancy it, they just made a mess of trying to avoid any trouble

I think a more truthful narrative of why the WMP banned the Macabi fans is now generally accepted, but only due to the tenacity of Nick Timothy MP and others.

I don't think the authorities can attempt to "move on" from this because senior officers not only put forward an exaggerated narrative they also mislead Parliament and you can’t do that without consequences.
