  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

2 issues - men in child care - there is a case, as men commit most cases of sexual abuse it would be really unusual if the same did not apply in any area including child care.

It's a working theory. I've just not seen any evidence to support it. Presumably because our safety and safeguarding measures are robust.

I'm saying a baby is better with a mother.

Not really that hard to grasp is it.

They're looking after children for a few hours during the day. Not replacing a mother. There's nothing about being a woman that makes them better at looking after other people's children and doing some hand paintings with them.

We'd ventured off in to adoption territory there old bean.

As for blokes working in nursery's, nah not for me. Just doesn't feel right. There was one working at my lads nursery and it's just not a place for a bloke to be for me.

Indeed.

I'd rather the said baby be adopted by a female first though.

A good female yes. Not Lucy Letby.

Correct

I’ve got a job. And a life. 😀

You can get wrong ‘un mums and wrong ‘un dads. Social services needs to keep doing their best to make sure none of them have access to kids.

Equally you can have great mums and great dads. They are the ones who will give a child a safe home.

Surely it’s as simple as that.

There’s a young lad joined the nursery that’s part of our school. He’s great. Full of energy & kids love him. Does a lot of Forest school & wildlife stuff with them.

One kid in particular has had a tough upbringing, quite violent at times in school. He’s made a lovely bond with this member of staff. Has really settled down.

Another guy in my local nursery, he’s always outside running about with the kids. They seem to worship him. He’s been there a while & earns an early years practitioner salary. Not too bad money to aspire to.

Sad state of affairs that there are still dinosaurs out there judging people who care about their work & do a great job.

Most kids in nursery aren’t babies. Many are walking, talking & running about. Research clearly shows kids do better under male & female role models.

These cases are fucking horrific. Cannot even begin to imagine the pain of a parent after putting their trust in a nursery.

The solution isn’t to ban men though. Quite the opposite.

Could be that they aren’t allowed to do changes or something.

Shocking failures once again

Best sack him anyway though. Just to be on the safe side 😁

Aye, doesn't seem quite right does it.

DEI rules etc would need to be changed to allow for such an approach, and that might lead to more protests!

You've swallowed so much American Far Right shite that you're unwittingly parrotting it now. It's not called "DEI" in this country, it's "EDI" (with slightly different wording), and it is based on the Equality Act that was introduced in 2010, which does not permit positive discrimination - unlike it does in America.

Nah he's irreplaceable

Just like the maternal love of a mother 😀

Both DEI and EDI are both widely used here in the UK. The Guardian regularly use the acronym DEI.

Only ever heard DEI, though it matters not a jot.

Same fuckin letters.

Remarkable that anyone would think it did, let alone it be "far right".

Desperate Etymology of an Idiot.

Again, thats a very old school view

The point I was making is that you're parrotting utter shite.
