Do you even know what you are talking about???

Google isn't AI (well the COMPANY IS) but I'm using its SEARCH ENGINE, which ISN'T.

Google doesn't compose anything, it is simply searches for what you've asked of it and directs you to what it understands from its programming what you are looking for and ranks them in order for you.

NOBODY gives any reference to a Google search - simply because it is the middle man between someone (me) searching for something and the source article, fact or whatever resulting from the Google search.

The bits I put up for Mr Sanchez (to be honest I've don't recall what I said to him apart from sending my regards to his cat) would almost certainly be the prime source documents to which I would ALWAYS posted a link to UNTIL it was made clear to me that the majority didn't want to read such stuff...

Feel free to search through all my posts (because I'm not) but I DID reference my source to be AI before I thought in wise to bow to the masses demand of me, this is taken from the Donald Trump thread on 31st May...

And this I found from a few days earlier 27th May on the Transfer Gossip thread...

I've enlarged and highlighted the reference to AI from my original posts just to make it clear to you, that I'm not that sad (unlike some) as to need to lie on social media.

So in summary AI has NOT be writing my posts.

Google is NOT AI

If it wasn't for the mass hysteria from so many, I would be still acknowledging and linking to ALL the sources I use (Google being a search engine and NOT a source document - merely a conduit to them).

And you would have saved yourself sneaking around and trying to be clever.

I understand you made a good living framing stuff unfortunately this time you were talking out of your backside attempting to frame me.

Might have helped you a bit if you had asked AI if Google was AI before you made made a fool of yourself.

Shall I tell you what it says..?

Q - Is Google considered as AI?

Ans - Google Search: While Google Search now features AI-driven overviews, its core engine fundamentally works by scanning, indexing, and ranking actual web pages rather than generating text from scratch.

Other than that, have a nice day.

If I use AI to answer you, I’m going to use ‘pirate speak’ so people know when it’s AI generated.👍

Nay, Google be not an AI. ’Tis a mighty company: Google.

But Google does forge and command many AI contraptions, such as Gemini and the clever minds at Google DeepMind.

So the short answer be:

  • Google = a grand company o’ technology.

  • Google AI = the artificial intelligence tools and systems built by that company.

Arrr, ‘tis much like sayin’ a shipwright be not a ship, though he builds many fine vessels! 🏴‍☠️

Are you having some sort of breakdown?

A simple "I hold my hand up, I got in wrong' would have been suffice.

We all get things wrong from time to time, including me.

Sorry, I've made a slight error, the increase in revenue from being in the Championship is £12m not £20m (as I've mention a couple of times recently, please forgive me my mistake).

Google (the company) is a bit like Marks and Spencer's in a way, in that it is famous for TWO COMPLETELY SEPARATE THINGS. a Search Engine and more recently AI, (and as we know, Marks and Spencer's sells food and clothes - again two completely separate things).

You now know that.

Shame on you not being big enough to admit your mistake clearly rather than through some bizarre medium of a one legged John Silver.

I've seen some weird things before from people trying desperately not to admit they made a mistake on social media but yours is completely off the scale.

Once broken down by per capita, and also by nationality/religion the stats are clear.

Unfortunately, the government is slow/reluctant to publish full data.

Dome MPs have pushed for this data, and some has been revealed.

Yet we continue to allow shit loads of them in.

Yet all this ignores the bleeding obvious.

Anyone being allowed into our country ought to show some respect.

The crime stats for their groups should be significantly lower- you know, as they integrate into the promised land.

If we're using overall stats as a means of justification of their criminality then as a nation we've let standards slip dramatically.

I really don't want to get involved in this but how do you propose we stop them?

I mean seriously, within the law.

And when they get here how do you get them to leave?

Again within the law?

As for "Anyone being allowed into our country ought to show some respect.", do we always show respect when allowed into other countries?

AI Overview

"Brits abroad: the British disease" is a colloquial stereotype used to describe the notorious behaviour of some British tourists on holiday in Europe. It typically conjures images of heavy binge drinking, rowdy "lad culture," aggressive sunbed reservation, and severe sunburns due to ignoring local heat warnings

Genuine question: what do you mean by “our own people”? People born in the UK? People with a British passport? People legally living in the UK?

Yes I agree that more respect needs to be shown by Brits abroad (you could say that for most nationalities) but I think there’s a difference between going somewhere on holiday and coming over here and living off our benefit system

People who are born here, and people who’ve contributed, are always at the end of the queue.

Absolutely,

We do however are aware of expatriates who rape and murder, not to mention those who abounded on the infamous Costa del Crime and wherever is the place to go to is these days.

I was only trying to make a simple point that there isn't any easy answer to stopping illegal immigration, the majority that come are not here to commit crimes, that it is almost impossible to 'evict' those who are failed asylum seekers and that respect goes two ways,

Of course anyone entering the country should be thoroughly vetted but how do we do that, it's not like most of these people are coming from countries that have much if any form of efficient record keeping, DNA, or even fingerprints of the criminals they've dealt with and even if they had, bribery of officials seems to be endemic if what we hear is to be believed.

I have no answers and that's why I don't want to be dragged into this, especially with those like you who seem to get your kicks by continual point scoring all the time.

My thoughts for what they are worth is to identify what draws the illegals to seek asylum in the UK rather than all the 'safe' countries they've already travelled through such as France, Spain, Italy etc, and reduce whatever is the inducement for them to continue on to our shores, to the level of the countries they've forgo, in order to make travelling on any more beneficial for them.

Are you sure because the Sikh who stabbed Henry Nowak and the Southport killer of the young girls were born here?

Which I believe is the point behind Bertie's question to you.

But you regularly lambast people who rely on the welfare system, and don't believe in things like free school breakfast clubs?

Just a couple of questions - genuine ones

See a few people saying they use AI and copy the answer into their comments on here. For those that do,

  1. Do you do this because it articulates your view better than you can ?

  2. Or is it because the replies are more detailed than you can be bothered typing so it avoids a serious of ‘What about questions’ ?

  3. Rather articulate better than you do you think it tends to add points that you had not considered ?

  4. Do you use AI to actually form your opinions ?

Just interested why people use it.

As I am sure people can tell by my typing I do not use it other than to fact check and get some details say on numbers. Personally I am not a fan of the cut and paste approach as it goes from a discussion board and feels impersonal more like a lecture than a debate, but that is just me.

Fair enough, if that’s where you want to draw the line.

As I said, it was a genuine question, one I don’t know the answer to tbh. As Sluffy / others (& everyone?) says no easy answer. On top of folks born here and/or have citizenship, then FWIW for me it’s all about positive contributions to society. We clearly need migration to fill the workforce, grow the economy and not least make the NHS and social care work. This for me was one of the two reasons I voted for Brexit, for controlled immigration. A decade on and it’s still a dogs dinner, which (sadly for me) has fuelled a populist far-right movement which (imho) does nothing positive, only create division and enrich folks like Farage at the expense of those who support them.

I never use AI for anything mainly because I’ve never bothered to learn how to

A lot of folk at work use it to write emails and the reason being is your point 1 - they find it articulates better and more succinctly. I really should learn how to use it

For the record I DON'T

I very much doubt anyone on here does.

I think you've been completely mislead by BobyBrno false allegations that I do, then suddenly (for reasons known unto himself) turning himself it to a pirate simply to avoid admitting he'd got it wrong.

Utterly bizarre behaviour (even on here) to say the least.

AI does not to my knowledge 'compose replies' what it does basically is that it trawls at fantastic speed to retrieve 'stuff' that is out there on the internet (which includes things posted on Reddit and Facebook!!) and regurgitates what it has found to reply to the question you asked of it (hence my continual warnings that AI is 'not there yet' - unless you too believe everything you read on the likes of Reddit and Facebook).

I tend to look up definitions of words and sayings (on Google) and until the last six months or so ago, it used to give them to you and quote the dictionary source, Now when I do the same Google defaults to AI instead - not quite the same thing as Google's search engine which DOES NOT rely on Reddit and Facebook explanations - but is suffice for our level of consumption on here.

Boby the Pirate, clearly not understanding the difference functions between search engines and AI, wrongly assumed (because I posted a definition or two from AI - you can tell because part of the AI reply is indelibly watermarked) that I was composing everything from AI - and even set out to 'trap' me by setting up a post as bait for me to respond to - even though he had ZERO idea if I would.

It sounds fucking crazy just writing all this down, doesn't it - but he actually did all this just in respect of me - I don't know whether I should be somewhat honoured or completely freaked out with this psycho behaviour?

It sort of has the vibe of the Wagatha Christie saga between Colleen and Rebekah doesn't it?

Anyway does that answer your questions?

If you need assistance with your writing style there are such things out there such as 'Grammarly' that you can use as an aid.

I've never used it myself but I imagine it is more suited to formal correspondence than social chit-chat on here.

Your point scoring, trolling, neediness, never ending arguments, wanting to control the narrative, answering questions with questions or whatever it is you are doing (knowingly or not) I'm just not not interested in being a foil for you or your ego.

I've no doubt whatsoever that you will go all out for me to respond, to get your little victory, thrill, rush, whatever it is that spurs you on, but all you're going to get back from me is a repeat of this post then I'll just blank you thereafter.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
