Four women told the BBC they were sexually assaulted and harassed while attending the Army Foundation College (AFC) at Harrogate in North Yorkshire.

I’m sure all those rioting outside asylum hotels to protect our women & kids will be out in full force at this army college.

As for this specific case; it is not unique, and there have been similar incidents before.

All of which get investigated when the events are reported.

That's not necessarily the case elsewhere, and as for an inquiry, well that is never going to happen in any meaningful way until a new government gets in.

Desperate is an odd analogy. I think it’s interesting that a growing movement continues to argue that we need to protect women & girls. Then they completely ignore it when it happens in their own community. And let’s be honest - many of these anti immigration activists have their own convictions for domestic abuse.

I think what it shows is they are more preoccupied with hating anyone foreign than actually making our streets safer.

Every week now you see them targeting innocent people & beating coppers. Families torched from their homes. New headlines from another area again today.

And if a Muslim is convicted of a sex offence then out come the deluded rants about how Islam cannot exist alongside Western values. Yet nobody is suggesting the British military isn’t compatible with Western values after scandal after scandal makes the news.

Both are of course compatible.

It’s always an entire group of people get tarnished with the same brush if a foreigner commits the crime.
