I think it's done deliberately to drive traffic through his profile.

There's a bunch of those, I'm pretty sure they're just bots from India ironically

I’ll reply to you but I could reply to many of the above. What do people look at or follow to find this stuff? I’m well aware of the way X works but I would have to search the trends etc. to find similar of all extremes, both left or right. What does it prove? 🤷‍♂️

Edit.

I follow people on X I don’t agree with. It means FA. My niece is a staunch leftist but read Mein Kampf. 🤷‍♂️

X is an absolute shitpit now. It's always been a bit dodgy but since the idiot bond villain took it over it's so much worse.

The problem is the bots, despite Musk saying he's cleared them, they are worse than ever and look more like real comments than ever.

Because you spread your interests you hopefully won't get the same kind of rinse and repeat posts, but those who just follow one kind of topic will find most of their feed is just the same stuff over and over.

It's the algorithm, you look at something even slightly related and get all this suggested bollocks in the feed. Worse than ever.

Facebook is just as bad if not worse, I follow a few "laughing at right wingers" pages, get suggested loads of ai generated right wing drivel as a result.

Yep, I get that. I haven’t looked at the aforementioned link/links so I can’t really comment on its content other than what it shows on these pages. I’ve said previously, I know more about Tommy Robinson from Wanderersways than X. I just stick to who I follow and that probably takes up more time than it should.

Yeh. I ignore the ‘for you’ section. As I said earlier, I spend too much time as it is on my followers. I can understand why people have a negative attitude to X but I bypass most of the crap.

I'm afraid you don't. As with all social media it just serves you what you want.

As ive said before, this is how i earn a living, by targeting and serving up directed ads on the usual digital sales funnel of awareness - trafficking - conversion.

Anyone who looks or uses any social media platform and thinks they control what they see is delusional.

One click and you're placed in a certain pot of data.

I know. I did say ‘most’ of the crap.

This is an interesting point.

NiC is right about the targeting, but I'd ask him just how effective it is.

I don't bother with X, but watch quite a bit of YouTube.

The adverts obviously reflect a product I may have searched for/bought previously, but I'm not convinced they influence me much.

After all, they're "after the event", and become bloody irritating after a while- even if the purchase was a positive experience.

Similarly, the number of AI based products chucked at me, and accounting software is bizarre.

Never used one, never looked at one, and will never need one.

The next and skip functions can't come soon enough.

The accounting software will be because the algorithm has you down as being self-employed/small business.

I thought that.

But, I've never looked into any such software, as I would never bother with it, and just used an accountant.

I've used business insurance, so whether that flags it up I don't know- if it is, then I sort of illustrates what I was asking- how effective is it really, as I have never and would never use such a product.

It's incredibly effective, it wouldn't exist so successfully if not.

Talk about denial of the obvious.

Even simple shit like a Tesco clubcard is monitoring you.

It’s a Tik Tok trend at the moment isn’t it, driving the wrong way down the motorway whilst filming it. Fkin idiots.

This is from a video I did at Blackpool that went "Viral".. think it was about 200,000 views..

Baring in mind a small business in Bolton, tagged Blackpool

Either bots or a hell of a lot of India's fancy going on Aviktas ride...

The stats show 160k different viewers.. so that's roughly 70k in India?
