I agree.

Whats the name/label given to folk that travel for miles and smash up banks, coffeee shops etc, and target Jews  because of actions carried out by people 1000s of miles away?

Tramps or wankers I think

Maybe I’m wrong but I thought you were an employee of a massive UK PLC defence business?

Yes, you are wrong.

The IRA haven't existed for many years but it doesn't stop folk having IRA views and it doesn't stop folk singing No Surrender

There's always been one knocking about, National Front, BNP, EDL

Just because they've "gone away" didn't mean their members have and all "reformed"

Tommy Robinson left the EDL because he thought they were extreme

Fuck knows what they did to put him off

But he still clearly hates immigrants

So you think the EDL just evaporated and all its members just went back to being normal everyday citizens?

Over 50 police now injured by Lonsdale wearing 9st pissed up M0ng. 3 x police dropped by  2 x rats who had been travelling for 15 hours with their mam. Dozens running away from some gypsies in  Leeds.

One thing these episodes over the last few weeks have highlighted is the police are a shadow of what they were years ago. To many in a job to tick a box

You don't know the EDL were just gaggles of footy lads from across the country and not hard line right wing terrorists ?

Yes. And they still are. What am I missing? The fact they haven't got a website any more means they all ceased to exist??

The EDL were never a political party.

They were just footy lads fron each area. They had a series of demos against Islam and each town had its own division.

You'll know of plenty that went on them.

The EDL as an organisation does not exist anymore.

There isn't a leader.

There aren't divisions.

There's no subscription site.

It does not exist.

The people that were part of it, unless they have all died, obviously still exist.

But that organisation doesn't not exist.

You're actually thick.

Except it does, just not under that specific banner. It's the same knobheads doing the same things together in the same places, they just don't wear badges or wave flags advertising it. Jesus wept.

Fylde coast Bolton supporters group existed 1996-2003ish. There were meetings. There were Xmas dos and we organised coach travel for game. And met other groups at the said games.

That organisation doesn't exist anymore as nobody wanted to be the leader and it folded.

Each member probably still supports Bolton and goes to games.

Does this mean the fylde coast Bolton supporters club still actually exists?

Do they?

How many EDL marches have their been in towns across the UK in the last ten years?

I can’t understand how people can’t grasp this, granted it’s the usual gawps.

The point is not that the people who used to be members no longer hold the same views, it's that proscribing the EDL as an organisation is unlikely to make any meaningful difference to the authorities' ability to prosecute far right terrorists because it no longer exists in the form of the organised structure it used to be

Meant to add. I raised around $100K for an orphanage which has a population of kids around 80/20 indigenous to others.

Raises money for charity, but doesn't like to talk about it.....

It doesn't matter. We're never going to understand each other on this. You just crack on with your semantic theory that the police are making stuff up for some unknown reason.

Neither were the IRA but we know full well what they stood for

They were associated with Sinn Fein in the same way Tommy Robinson used to be both BNP and then BFP

I'd wager everyone in Southport last night would sign up for an EDL membership card if they were giving them out

We can call the EDL a terrorist organisation if we want, everyone can say it never existed and we're all here off our own steam if they want

But let's not pretend they all don't prescribe to the same "political* views

Which is why they travelled from miles around to riot and smash up a mosque

They are extreme

I'm telling you they don't exist as I know they don't. I know ex members and know why the whole thing collapsed.

I've explained why the police and media tag groups rioting as EDL etc as its easier for them to do so.
