They were just footy lads fron each area. They had a series of demos against Islam and each town had its own division. You'll know of plenty that went on them.

July 31, 20242 yr Fylde coast Bolton supporters group existed 1996-2003ish. There were meetings. There were Xmas dos and we organised coach travel for game. And met other groups at the said games. That organisation doesn't exist anymore as nobody wanted to be the leader and it folded. Each member probably still supports Bolton and goes to games. Does this mean the fylde coast Bolton supporters club still actually exists?

July 31, 20242 yr The point is not that the people who used to be members no longer hold the same views, it's that proscribing the EDL as an organisation is unlikely to make any meaningful difference to the authorities' ability to prosecute far right terrorists because it no longer exists in the form of the organised structure it used to be

I know ex members and know why the whole thing collapsed. I've explained why the police and media tag groups rioting as EDL etc as its easier for them to do so.
