I had lamb for tea last night. It didn’t even cross my mind to check if it was Welsh or NZ. It was on the supermarket shelf and I fancied it, so I bought it.

Call me unpatriotic if you wish, but the last thing on my mind when shopping is where the produce came from. I’m swayed much more by a purple Nectar price than I am by a Union Jack on the packaging.

When I posted the link my comment was LH / Farnworth  border, that alone  would imply I’m talking about the article not the person posting it. To many people get into a twist about who’s posting and ignoring the content. Maybe next time I’ll post a link via blue sky

My point was that some, not all, were more concerned about the ‘source’ than the tragedy. It’s a common theme on here and elsewhere. It’s why I, personally, don’t post stuff from the Mail and other supposedly ‘right wing’ sources. Ad hominem.

Yeah  I honestly don't think if you post a link to a story about a local tragedy, whether it be from the BN or the Mail anyone would take issue 

Unless it was accompanied by some sort of apparent political or irrelevant point from you or the article

Fair enough. I reacted to what I read and my reluctance to post something I’d read earlier as I explained. I retract my first accusation and replace it with ‘sensitive souls’ 

I’ll also add that I had a conversation with a former regular poster last week and ‘their’ reason for not posting anymore was because we are a set of cunts. I just smiled.😊
