That would be where we all are I suspect. We all know there have been benefit scroungers/dole bludgers for decades but the numbers have exploded since Covid.

Still pinching myself at the thought that this is Labour looking at this. So far only talk mind. Wait and see job.

Discussions this morning: reportedly the requirement for PIP will go to a level 4 from current 3.

Someone with an inability to get into and out of a bath is level 3. Someone with only one leg is level 3.

Another example is someone with a disabled son, with a vehicle provided under the motorbility scheme, also qualifying for free transport from the local authority. The reason: when making the assessment, the authority can't take into account the provision of such a vehicle!

What on earth is the assessment doing then?

Clearly more complex than those examples, but on the face of it, there is going to be some massive comeback.

It's great that this whole thing is being looked at, but once again, it seems common sense isn't part of it.

“Only used the word majority”

This is what happens when you lie and try to change your question multiple times, you end up looking even more stupid then what you origainlly come across.

“Only ever”

Keep trying “you sad bastard” 👍

Haha - It is fascinating how much you struggle with a bit of exaggeration. I’ll remember for next time 😁

Still avoiding the question 😂

Deflect deflect deflect

Anything but have a discussion. Please mate, don’t give me another clown badge 😢

I’ll just assume your Twitter feed only shows you a certain demographic of people. But that’s an assumption because you’re too in denial to discuss it 😊

Nowt new there then. That goes for red, blue or whatever colour those centrist vote wasters call their shade of episcopalian puce.

I have a theory that it's the beans and pulses. A few fats and sugars might assist they/them.

There was a bloke on the radio

Him and his partner, fair does both working, but both get pip

Adhd, autism

How much you got coming in mate

74k in wages and benefits, plus theres a car as hes too stressed when on a bus

Get

To

Fuck

Yeah, he gets so anxious he needs to wear nioise cancelling headphones

So? Buy a fucking pair

And restrictions on claiming for u22

Targetting the young again

You don't get enough points for high rate mobility (what you trade in for a motabilty car) without a physical limitation on your movement. So someone is bullshitting or omitting something as autism/adhd alone wouldn't qualify.

PIP is meant to cover the extra cost you encounter with your disability so it's not linked to ability to work.

You just don’t know how to answer a simple question… only asked why the majority of your posts about crime (& many other matters) are about ‘foreigners’.

And all you’ve done to respond is rabbit on about what I meant by foreigners & mentioned something about the British justice system.

Some would be screeching like fuck if the Tories did this.

It's taking the toughening of testing the tories brought in and making it even stricter. It'll still be carried out by some private firm with targets on how many folk to turn down every month so they can get paid top whack from the government.

Your original post said ‘some posters’

Why don’t you just spit it out and say what you mean.

You’re really not helping yourself here. Everyone who can be arsed reading your drivel will see how many times you’ve changed your question.

It’s foreigners was changed to non whites and second and third gen immigrants.

Its relentless changes to its not relentless.

My Posts about Violent criminals changed to any posts I make.

Then lying about every posts suddenly becoming a majority.

Im not sure what you’re trying to prove, apart from you don’t half know how to make a fool of yourself.

another woman on the show who had been an assessor said she had jacked due to the pressure to give positive reports - after 8 years

i must admit, that wasn't my understanding as i understood it was quite difficult to qualify

she wasn't bullshitting, i don't think, as she knew the forms inside out

however in need folk are, what is happening needs to change

Her story is the opposite of what we've come across from personal experiences and from working with disabilities groups. The pressure has been on the assessors to turn folk down so it counts towards the companies targets. Then when it gets to appeal a good chunk are overruled but those decisions don't affect the amount atos or whoever has the contract gets paid. There is also the idea that people are put off appealing by the bureaucracy and stress that goes with it.

Nothing much to spit out to be honest - I asked RW directly.

I'd noticed a pattern on this thread where the majority of his posts were focused on foreigners & immigrants. Scrolled back to January and found three without much effort. I didn't mean anything and haven't jumped to any conclusions, all I did was ask out of curiosity. The only thing I've hinted at, is that maybe his twitter feed algorithms show him a lot of negative stuff about certain demographics of people. But that's just guesswork because he doesn't seem up for discussing the question.

😄

I'm honestly trying to prove nothing. Thank you for your kind words though.

Yes relentless was the wrong choice of word, I was happy to admit that.

I feel that my question has become fairly clear. I apologise if any exaggerations confused you though mate, don't take everything I post by its literal word. Just like with most discussions folk have.

You post a fair bit about crime, policing and the justice system which is why I focused on that. My observation has been that the majority of those posts tend to be about foreigners and immigrants, and all I'm doing is asking why that is. But if you're not up for discussing why then we can leave it there. 👍

Tbf the majority* of his and your posts are about what the other said or meant.

* I can not prove this statistically but hopefully you get the gist. A bit like Boby seems to be posting less for balance these days, it is only my opinion based reading the thread.

You found three of immigrants, and only one of those was for violent crime which you asked for, the rest were focusing on the pathetic sentences and judges. When you scrolled back to Jan you should  have seen numerous posts focusing on white English people. You must have conveniently missed them. Now as it’s quite obvious to anyone with basic reading capabilities that my posts are focusing on all creeds and colours. Not “every post is about foreigners” as you wrongly suggested.

Yes, sounds familiar.

Just talking to the m-i-l today, and she was recounting her story of a similar experience with her payments (think it was PIP predecessor or something) where she received the payment, then it was stopped following an assessment, despite nothing changing.

She went to appeal, and the bloke chairing it, said they didn't need to actually have the hearing, as she'd clearly racked up the requited points level, and reinstated her money.

Some jobsworth hoping another victim would lie down and take it.
