Strange guy.

There's more than he wishing death upon a democratically elected leader. The same peace and love advocates who are adherents of woke ideology and, no doubt, net zero cultism.

Nice bunch.

Right - you're on the right path. So now go with do countries save money on prisoners by having the death penalty?

I'm afraid I'll have to leave you to go through those facts yourself. From it costing on average 70% more than life incarceration in the States to more when accounting for retrails.

But it's all there for you but my train has just arrived in Whitstable. Night x

There blokes butchering kids 30 miles down the road but he would rather see Trump killed. Odd cunt. It’s a cult

I'd have the death penalty back for the most extreme irrefutable cases.

Southport Killer, The Lee Rigby dude etc.

Manchester Arena bomber, 7/7 perpetrators, John Aldridge.

Again highlighting your reading difficulties. As before, we are not in the states!

Last try, how much does it cost if it’s not millions. Ai is obviously wrong and the 3 amigos on here are right. 🙄

@zico what are you about Saria law?

Subliminal messaging. He is doing preparatory work for 'his side'.

Not all Countries that practice sharia law have the death penalty. I don’t want people killed for drug trafficking. Why you have brought sharia law into this is weird.

The thread went weird when it was suggested we become a nation where folk are killed within 24 hours of being found guilty in order to save some money

That would be like living under sharia law, which is also weird to me

It's just a weird conversation

Thanks for posting this. It has proven just what an imbecile you are as someone with no understanding of how costings work.

As I mentioned earlier the cost of keeping a prisoner is calculated by cost absorption.

Prison Type = Fixed Cost, therefore if you kill 1 of those prisoners then there is pretty much no saving to be made as those costs will still exist.

The other costs will be Variable so will be a saving ... But won't come anywhere near millions as you initially said.

Maybe it's best for you if you stick to talking about stuff you have a clue about.

I wish him, the Southport killer, Lee Rugby's killers, etc all dead.

But I don't want them to be killed because of a backwards judicial system where people are sentenced to death by courts.

It's really quite simple ... A bit like #theusuals.

So give me the cost then.

We could look at Broadmoor if you like, approx 200k per person per year. If you think killing off a number of prisoners would make no Saving then you’re a lost cause. Which I think most of have realised now

To be fair those living under Sahria law would probably think Our system is weird.

Bloke slaughters 3 kids, gets to live, gets his own cell with little luxuries including a kettle. He then uses the kettle to pour boiling water over a screw

Paedos getting less jail time than folk making threats on FB.

It was only last month the sentencing council wanted to softer sentences for non white folk.

Aye, it's messed up

I would certainly have no issue with jail cells losing all their current luxuries, for all criminals

Zero privileges all round

Do you know how fixed costs work?

... and no, I can't give a cost because there is no breakdown of the costs split by fixed and variable for the AI response you posted.

Also, you, not surprisingly, don't seem to be able to differentiate between what is a calculated cost per prisoner and what a saving would be if you removed a few of the prisoners. It's really not as simple as you are making out.

Yes.

Now tell me why people want to compare figures with America yet when you flip the argument those figures are no good.

Why do you want these people to stay alive?

I don't care if it costs more. I'd rather the Southport dude be killed than kept alive assaulting prison guards.

So let me guess this right , his evidence on it costing millions is an AI tool that’s opening sentence starts with ‘this is a hugely complex issue’ 😂

& not once has he tried to compare the costs of keeping them, with the cost of killing them.

It’s entertaining when he keeps going on & on trying to prove a flawed point. Simpleton stuff.

You clearly don't, but never mind.

I'm not going to answer why anyone is comparing figures with America.  Ask them.

I don't want them to stay alive.  I wish they were dead.  I just don't want our country to have the death penalty.  Why are you struggling with this?

Your wish could be granted if there was a death penalty.

Because you're fucking simple. It's like arguing with a 10 year old.

I'll put it as simply as I can.  I don't believe we should have the death penalty as a sentence. That sort of thing, IMO, belongs in the dark ages.

Should some fellow inmate decide to off them off their own back then I'm perfectly fine with that.  Similarly, if some deranged sniper, hopefully one who isn't cross-eyed and using something a bit better than a pea shooter, decides to take Trump's head clean off then I'd be happy with that too.  Same goes for Andrew Tate seeing as he's been mentioned elsewhere.

Being called simple and a 10 year old by a “man” who wants people dead because they have different political views than them. Brilliant.

WW brings out some classics and this is right up there. Well done you.

Wonder what would happen if someone puta message on x etc, that called for the killing of a British mp, or PM?

Moral outrage, and quite possibly a knock on the door.

Rightly so.

Call for death of an elected US president though, well that's OK.

Trump might be a lot of things we don't like, but..

So much for being a democrat.

Before reading this thread I was of the view there's no credible sensible argument for bringing back the the death sentence.

Then Bolty mentioned John Aldridge, and now I'm not so sure.
