I gave a statement to police and they said I needed to go to court to read it out but they rang last week and said I wasn't needed.

There's a storage unit round the back that has hours of footage of the accused coming in and out covered in claret carrying his stuff.

Copper had his baton out as well. For a 92 year old dementia patient with one leg in a wheelchair and brandishing a butter knife.

Channel 4 News reported that he did. But he's a 92 year old, confused bloke in a wheelchair with one leg and armed with a butter knife.

When my dad was admitted and he did have dementia, he was stood on his bed in just his grunds wanting to take all the staff on

He thought he was in malaya, poor fella

If he had been waving a knife about, id have got him being tasered, tbh

Give over. I'm not having it that you'd have been alright with your Dad being tasered and pepper sprayed for waving a butter knife around? Did you watch the video? He doesn't even wave it till the copper comes at him with a baton. Poor old bloke is probably confused and frightened. 

I've been attacked with all sorts of different things as a nurse. If you're a healthcare professional or a police officer then you should be trained to deal with it, and have the temperament to as well. 

Anyway - we'll see what happens. They can both get fired for me.

I didnt say i was comfortable with the pepper spray

I did say the mail article isnt without  issues

If theyd fucked off and he had stabbed a member of staff or harmed himself thered be similar complaints

And yeah, when my dad was sectioned, id not have expected staff to put themselves at risk
