I've just read the article on the daily mail. They've quoted his Pakistani neighbours. Its already built and hes made his brothers family move out. Probably paying a security firm to look after it with the tips he gets from dropping off kebabs. How much do you think a house would cost to build in a Pakistani village?

If he ends up staying in the UK maybe he can put it on air bnb. How do you think he's got round the land ownership, planning permission and building regs seeing as though he's renounced his Pakistani nationality. Maybe the Daily mail should send over some roving reporters to interview the locals.

Anyway a family home, being built by him and his family (an influential family). Do you think he would earn more delivering pizzas over here than he would over there? It’s kind of what’s been happening over here for decades, people come over here to work (mainly from much poorer countries) they then send their wages back home. It’s hardly something new

Daily mail readers arent enticed to click on stories about legal wranglings and human rights loopholes so they've gone with the "pizzaboy paedo builds a house whilst Rochdale residents are terrified and disgusted" instead. They've not bothered to explain the detail behind why hes not been deported, because pictures of a supposed houses, him getting into his car to potentially deliver a hot and spicy 12 inch, and quotes from nameless neighbours get more attention on their platform than facts.

No doubt some are, however the reason he's still here is because Pakistan don't want to take him and people like him back. Why would they? So theyre asking for us to do them a favour in return and so far we haven't agreed. Bit boring that though. Won't get as many clicks. His supposed house and his pizza job are irrelevant. The connotation is that he could be frighteningly dropping off pizzas to his rape victims, all whilst earning enough from an easy job to buy a new house. though id wager it's pretty low on probability, and it also plays to the stereotype. I doubt they'd have mentioned his job if he was working on an oil rig or home based telesales for Vodafone. Edited July 9, 20251 yr by peelyfeet

His appeal against being deported after his release was turned down, but Pakistan won't accept him (at the moment). It would be lovely if we could just lock him up until they do, but the law doesn't work like that.

That would have cost the taxpayer another half a million quid to do, plus youd have to get a law change through the Houses of P. And if it applied to every foreign born paedo you're talking a lot of wonga.

If he had been convicted of raping and abusing teenage girls in my area I certainly wouldn't want him roaming about living, working or delivering fuck all. Imagine being the family of one the victims knows he's bowling about in the same town? The guys being allowed to live a normal life in the same town he groomed and abused countless victims. All while being issued a deportation order. Play it down all you want but if it was your child or anyone you knew involved you might think differently.

Stop all criminals from having jobs when they've been released from prison in case they come into contact with a victim?

Can start by deporting the ones that need deporting. The bloke should have been moved on like a lot of Paedophiles and Child Abusers are. How the hell is he being allowed to live and work in the same town he committed his crimes? He should be in a new area at the very least for the sake of the victims alone.

Pakistan don't want him back. We gave him british citizenship years ago. Why would Pakistan want a convicted British paedophile back? So we re-locate criminals and their families to other areas so he can deliver pizzas in a different town? Mate I get what you're saying. But the issue isn't with this man or his job. It's because of diplomacy and outlets like the daily mail like to get their advertising revenue up by printing rage bait stories like this that get people wound up. Theres multiple like this every day. They do fuck all, but get repeated by GB news and then go all over social media getting people angry for 10 minutes until they move onto the next rage bait story and completely forget about all the other ones they'd been wound up by.
