Another vote for reform!

Brexit made me realise how utterly thick the majority of English people are. It's going to be fucking hilarious when we get Prime Minister Farage.

What do you think will change?

Everything will turn to shit again ... like it was under the Tories?

Or it won't make much difference to your life at all?

Least It'll give you something else to moan about on here 😄

If he's allowed power, unless he changes the bollocks spouted in his last manifesto, then the UK goes bankrupt.

To be fair, he'll have a completely different manifesto. Well, hopefully he will

For a start - remember when Liz Truss cost everyone a fucking fortune in the space of a few weeks? That, but on steroids.

Would Farage bother turning up to PMQs?

Nope, and his fans would love it, as he'd be seen as going against the establishment etc

He won't. He'll keep telling the gullibles what they want to hear, then they'll act shocked when they don't get what they want, and Farage makes a few more million and scuttles off to another grift. Much like Brexit. Then they'll probably vote for him again anyway.

Would he fuck. He doesn't even turn up for his constituents in his own office.

I think there might be quite a bit of disillusionment towards Reform by the time of the next election

A lot of the party membership/voters are to the right of Farage

Possibly.

I've said before, like Brexit, I don't think he really wants to win. He prefers being the plucky underdog. He'd shit himself if he had to do some real work, as being demonstrated by his piss poor MP type work at the minute.

You may well be right.

There was the spat, with a couple of senior chaps unhappy.

Farage has chosen no to go too far, and potentially alienate some folk.

Clearly, some aren't happy, but there is time for things to either get resolved, or implode.

If the previously considered impossible was to happen, then who knows how he/they would approach the situation- maybe go further then?

With Corbyn fucking off, it does more and more likely that we end up a hung parliament if the new parties on the right start taking votes off Reform

He's getting in his version of a "Not my President" march in well in advance.

Certainly likes to label people 'thick'. Somewhat ironic.

I think there's a very good chance you are correct here. It may well be that his second award for monumental change after getting us out of the hands of the Brussels bureaucrats will be to usher in the age of proportional representation.

Mixed feelings about PR.

Surely that means you don't vote for a candidate for your area, and one would be appointed afterwards?

There is also the chance that such "mixed" governance can become a complete series of compromises. Some benefit perhaps, but a restriction on the ability to be innovative and radical.

Who was it on here that had a cooper mate who said they wouldn’t want to work with the police involved in the brawl? If you read this kindly pass onto your copper mate that’s he’s an utter shit house.

Context?

Some truth in all of that but it seems pretty obvious to me and almost certainly everyone else that politics is polarising further. In this case, how do disparate views get represented where the decisions are taken?

Don't get me wrong. Anything to the left of JRM can be outlawed for me. You know how much whining they do now - it would be a cacophony.

There were those on here belittling the impact of arseholes Bob Vylans catchy little ditty about the IDF at Glastonbury.

These despicable twats were repeating it whilst attacking the restaurant in question. Not checked the attached video but one keffiyeh wearing cunt returned after the police had chased them away only to be handed some justice meted out by the restaurant owners. He'll probably have to shout 'Deff, deff to vee ID ESH' now.

Nobody was belittling it. Folk were disputing the idea he should be prosecuted.

If we’re going for him then there will be thousands more musicians. From both sides of the political spectrum & across different genres.

Genuinely curious how folk think the police have the time & resources & how it should be done?

News today of them putting teenagers in charge of vital services. Including children & family.

Children & family … just let that sink in for a minute.

People will wake up to how useless they are surely. Or maybe not.

So certain musicians can get away with it? I’ve never heard thousands of musicians Chanting death to a group of people.

Have you really not ? Are you on a wind up ?

Punk music is absolutely littered with songs about dead cops & politicians & burning the royal family and other such shite. It’s rife.

Neo Nazi bands also regularly sing about death to immigrants, politicians & groups of people.

Grime, Drill & Hip Hop is also home to many musicians singing about shooting the police & other people. Some heavy metal & grind core as well.

Even a minority of football fans across the UK & Europe chant songs about death & violence related to their rivals.

I find it hard to believe you don’t know about this kind of stuff. The amount of musicians that have done this will be well into the thousands. I could find you 100 bands online within a few hours if I was that  sad 😅

I think it’s a perfectly legitimate question to ask how we go about prosecuting all these people. Because if you go after Bob Vylan, then you can’t ignore everyone else.

Or we just let musicians do it & allow the venues & festivals to punish them by not hosting them if necessary. No way BV will be back at Glasto next year.

Not sure he goes to many gigs
