Have you really not ? Are you on a wind up ?

Punk music is absolutely littered with songs about dead cops & politicians & burning the royal family and other such shite. It’s rife.

Neo Nazi bands also regularly sing about death to immigrants, politicians & groups of people.

Grime, Drill & Hip Hop is also home to many musicians singing about shooting the police & other people. Some heavy metal & grind core as well.

Even a minority of football fans across the UK & Europe chant songs about death & violence related to their rivals.

I find it hard to believe you don’t know about this kind of stuff. The amount of musicians that have done this will be well into the thousands. I could find you 100 bands online within a few hours if I was that  sad 😅

I think it’s a perfectly legitimate question to ask how we go about prosecuting all these people. Because if you go after Bob Vylan, then you can’t ignore everyone else.

Or we just let musicians do it & allow the venues & festivals to punish them by not hosting them if necessary. No way BV will be back at Glasto next year.

Not sure he goes to many gigs

Bet he shouts "So good! So good! So good!" during the chorus of Sweet Caroline though.

So certain musicians can get away with it? I’ve never heard thousands of musicians Chanting death to a group of people.

Did you not hear Oasis wanting Blur dead last night?

Happens all the time mate ... You've just not been to many gigs.

Just so we are all aware. Our Prime Minister is not a Punk fan and for that he has leapt up in my personal estimation. Hate speech he said. Appalling hate speech! That’s a criminal offence.

‘The prime minister has condemned UK punk duo Bob Vylan for urging "death" to Israeli troops in what he called "appalling hate speech.’

I'm not sure about this

Sir Keir Starmer said the BBC had questions to answer over its live broadcast of the group's performance on Saturday

It's not like the BBC knew what he'd say even though before every act they warn it might contain offensive language etc

He said it was hate speech. Appalling hate speech. Did our Prime Minister say it or not?

There’s a way round this

Nope, a few second delay like the Oscar’s

I think i prefer letting them say what they want and facing the consequences, in this case, losing tours and their agency

otherwise how will they learn

They won’t

So what's the issue

Free speech is alive an well

They said what they wanted

They've been criticised left right and centre

They've been dropped by their agent

They've had a tour cancelled and they've lost loads of money because of that

And they're being investigated by the police

All fair enough

What more could anyone want?

There’s clearly an issue as the head of Glastonbury, the head of the  BBC, the police, the head of the country and many others have spoken out.

From a BBC perspective if they want to avoid having to make more apologies then they need to have something in place.

Yeah I know

Everyone has had their say and they've paid the price for what they said

I don't see why it's still an issue a week on

Since then the IDF done this

It was brought up again today as people in Australia have been targeting Jews whilst chanting death to the IDF

He's going to get back on the early releases again. Going to need a whole new prison for all these artists.

Let Lucy out and put him in. Simples. 👍

Just for clarity, they are a duo. So Lucy and maybe Barabbas in exchange. 😉
