No. I have no idea if the conversation happened, and neither do you. You're just believing what somebody told you (as per). You said you could send me proof that it actually happened, knowing that you couldn't. Therefore you lied.

No I didn’t.

you chose to interpret something your own way, like some kind of bible enthusiast.

As usual, you’ve backed yourself into a corner where you don’t want to answer simple questions, so you’re miring the thread in your nebulous, boring banalities around syntax and ambiguity.

We all see it, and to be honest I’ve generally chosen not to engage with you because it really is tedious or in some cases I’ve even backed you up.

But don’t call me a liar, you cunt.

As always, you’ve moved the conversation away from the actual subject matter because you’re uncomfortable with being wrong. Which you are here.

Its not your fault, probably.

I lived in a HMO in Warrington in 1986

Back in the day it was known as a bedsit

7 of us in a 3-storey terrace in separate bedrooms

Between us we had 5 cars and hogged the parking spots. We accidentally set the kitchen on fire and filled the houses on either side with smoke. We didn’t do one jot of maintenance. From Thursday to Sunday we pretty much lived in Mr Smiths til the early hours returning home pissed and noisy. We had parties. One lad had a St Helens RL flag (cunt) that he hung out of his window

The neighbours fucking hated us. We saw the landlord physically attacked one day when he was round collecting the rent

Things never change :D

Living next door or near to HMOs has always been an issue. Folk in eg Nottingham, kicking off because of students all partying, not recycling, taking pride in the area.

Air B&Bs are just as bad in some places, with large areas throughout Devon and Cornwall having no private rented accommodation available for locals and all converted to holiday let's.

Folk don't tend to boot off and demonstrate outside student or holiday accommodation.  It’s grim that they do where there's foreigners though 😓

There is a house in Horwich.

I know the owners.

They were planning to sell it this autumn.

An HMO has been approved next door.

The value of their has dropped £50k as a direct result of the HMO.

I can DM you a link to this. It’s on public record. It’s not social media. It’s not Nigel Farage. It’s Bolton council.

Given this is not the only HMO in the country, I expect most HMO approvals have a similar impact with neighbouring properties.

If you think that’s ok, then you are genuinely fucking puddled.

Have I been clear enough, or do I need to put this in a pop up book for you?

Yet no link was DM'd.

And I've answered every single one of your simple questions. 🤷‍♂️

Aye. Student areas are a bit different though imo. It’s known what they are and why they are there and tend not to be new. Fallowfield in Manc, Toxteth in Liverpool, Crookesmoor in Sheffield, etc

We were all in our first jobs. None of us knew each other. All renting a bedsit saving for a deposit for a house. My car got egged and floured and “posh cunt” written in it as I wore a suit each day. One lad was known as “the local puff” as he was a designer - he was actually a designer of ovens for a local company New World. The protests were so much better back in those days :D

Certainly has the strangest residents of any area of Bolton I've worked in and I include Withins, Jonny Fow and Dobble in that.

my local town doesn't come up, so hopefully that means we don't have any. Although, Stevenage which is the next nearest town do seem to have 359

They should do another one that tells you how many unemployed benefit claimants live in your town.

Why? - are the two things linked?

We all know there are far, far more scuttery British folk sucking money out of the state, that's not up for debate - something needs to be done about them as well (the ones who are capable of actually working, but who just chose not to)

Why not? Why do people want to know how many asylum seekers are in their town?

You obviously don't, so why get involved?

They're discussing asylum seekers.

Why mention benefit claimants?

Because I'd like to understand why people are interested in knowing how many asylum seekers are in their town (presumably because they're a drain on society?), but not how many benefit claimants there are.
