If it is indeed 4 at the back, then Jones would be one of the centre halves for me.

And if it it is 3 in midfield, then Dempsey should also be in as he gets about the park and offers a bit of everything. 

Whatever the set up, it seems defensively weak, with only Thomason giving a defensive screen beyond the back line.
