Im fairly sure selling restrictions will be on police orders. But surely if its members only, why is it necessary

Unless the membership scheme is a crock of shit

No in person ticket sales after 12pm. They literally don't want people's money it seems.

I wonder if that’s to spare staff the hassle of dealing with dick heads who think they can rock up at 14.50 and walk straight in to ticket office without there being a queue.

Yeah I think it's to get people there earlier. I forgot it's a 2pm ko. They'll probably still be selling tickets well after 12.00pm but no late comers I suppose.

This make no business sense, we must be fucking rolling in cash.

At £10 and £5 a ticket, an extra 2k fans that might rock up on the day would generate about £15k?  Each team gets 45% so about £7k each.  Take off possible extra costs like stewards, turnstile operators, ticket office staff.  I'm not saying I agree with it, it will definitely put a few off going, but these cup games are financially neither here nor there.

Plus drinks & food either in ground or fanzone etc it all adds up

£5 for the ticket, then £7 for the bus, plus £10 for a couple of pints? That's not good business sense either for me.

I'm out.

I could blame the ticket office, but truth is I can't be arsed.

I used to love the FA Cup, but it seems like it's just an inconvenience to the club for the past few years.

Sounds like they're angling for another rail strike on the weekend of the second round. Get us knocked out Barnsley, I cba.

If Pompey get knocked out tonight, we could be going there if we were to get knocked out too.

Aye I think that's the most likely thing to happen and probably why they've held off announcing a rearranged date for so long.

So could do with Portsmouth winning tonight. Bump Portsmouth away off into next year please.
