Wembley plans for day
Are people gathering in any particular area tonight? Me and the lad have been Bolton fan spotting in London today but come across very few… Wanderers flag in Trafalgar Square but seemed to have been hijacked by a few Plymouth women!!

Wembley plans for day
Not exactly a regular poster, but often stalking (on the site I should add), I’ll be around Baker St with the boy (12) - will many of you have young ‘uns with you? I’m flying over from France for the match, would be great to see a few other not rights 😉

Transfer Gossip
Hill’s recent comments were all about long term planning & recruitment... not quite sure how this fits in with that... and the fact that, extremely short term, thinking is muddled and contradictory... but I’ll give Buckley the benefit of the doubt. He’s shown (in patches) what he can do and he’s been loyal, unlike some.

Bolton v Rochdale
As you’ve reliably informed me that hotel is ST/Lifeline etc only (see other Rochdale thread), early breakfast & town start, midday Brinsop Arms and trundle down to the ground... followed by whatever shenanigans may follow... Bolton 2:1 Att: 11,342

Pre-match pint... Rochdale match Sat 19th
Where do people tend to go for a beer before the match these days? I’m coming over for the weekend of 19th Oct (I live in France to don’t get over much at all) for my stepdads funeral. He was a big Bolton fan and took me to one of my first ever matches in the early 80’s, so wanted to see the match and have a couple of beers in the old man’s honour... cheers

Howard, Galt and others suggested that Due Diligence info can be shared/bought... Bassini may not personally have seen all of it (he may not even be capable of understanding it all even if he had) but expect others within his “team” have. As also suggested, he may have backers, but also not unsecured... backers/funds secured against club assets... the land, car park, etc that has been mentioned... He doesn’t look great on paper, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Opportunity to be a hero/saviour and erase his self confessed mistakes or continue down the road of red hat clownerie....

Howard, my dear old thing. You’re letting the mask slip a tad... and I can understand why. Your “upbringing” comments would suggest you’re not a local chap. May I ask therefore how you came to be a Bolton fan, as you have stated? I also don’t think you are in PR, however I do believe and actually trust a lot of what you say... but the motivations and agenda, that I’m not sure of. ”Common Bolton folk” are a passionate and pessimistic bunch, so please do forgive the odd query as to your presence on here, however general stereotype insults are a little uncalled for and may I suggest, a touch below you...

Haven’t posted on WW for a long time, but been a member since 2003.... mainly lurking in the background with the occasional appearance (including a few beers with Casino & others in Munich, who may or may not remember...). A few posters mentioned divorce earlier in the thread and having been through that over the last few years, this situation with my beloved club feels a lot like the heartache I went through during my separation. These cunts that are responsible for this seemingly have no fucking idea or a complete lack of interest as to what BWFC means to the fans and employees of the club and the wider local community as a whole. If the relevant interested parties do indeed read this forum... search for just a hint of compassion, do the right thing, take a few quid with you if needs be, but just walk away and leave those of us with a genuine place in our hearts for BWFC to move on with our proud club.

Darren Handley
He used to coach Daisy Hill youth teams too. Put a lot of time and effort into local footie... good lad. No offence, but presume Darren's lost a shed load of weight to get to Championship reffing level... was a big unit at school! Was a decent player as a kid... a bit Tony Kelly ish. Good luck to him.

klasnic signed - 2 year contract, according to breaking news on Sky Sports News. Personally, happy with that.

Sounds a bit like Tony Kelly...

Owen Coyle - BWFC manager
Absolutely agree. My point was that, if this is true and we have paid ?3.6m in compensation, that is an enormous figure to pay for any manager, let alone one from Burnley.
