I'm presuming we're talking about that thing that we won in the Far East?? If so, does anyone know whether we got any prize money? I'm sure I read that Spurs got about ??1.5m for winning some other pre season jobby!

A couple decided to go for a meal and after some deliberation settled for their local Chinese restaurant. They peruse the menu and finally agree to share the chef's special 'Chicken Surprise'. The waiter brings over the meal, served in a lidded cast iron pot. Just as the wife is about to start in on the meal, the lid of the pot rises by a tiny amount and she briefly sees two beady little eyes looking around before the lid slams back down. Beg your pardon for thinking my opinion of the BWFC board of directors was as important or correct as yours is! When you consider that the board is ambitious, do you judge the ambition by counting the changes in infrastructure at the ground? Do you think putting a hotel at one end and an office suite at the other end was ambitious? I'm sorry, but I consider the lack of funds for football talent to be more indicative of the ambition of the board! I also consider that Sam Alardyce may just be banging his head against the wall by keep going cap in hand to the board asking for cash for new players and being told to sling his hook! I love Bolton Wanderers for what I see on the pitch. I don't give a flying fukc about the amount of real estate owned by the board of directors! THIS BOARD OF DIRECTORS LACKS AMBITION! PERIOD!! What a surprise to see hardly even a mention from the media/Sky Sports about Ashley Cole's, Viera's and Pires' diving shennanigans last night, either trying to win a penalty or to get someone red carded!! Dave Felgate once acted as a chauffer for me and Mick Axford and drove us to Forest when we played them in the Coca Cola cup.... I've never been able to figure out why he wasn't playing that game as he was Bolton's number 1 goalie (he just worked at Axfords in the Winter) anyhow, I digress 3-2 to Bolton I don't remember that!! Had been having a good read of WW's and T'other site for a while, without feeling the need to join in with the witty reparti ( ) on this board. However, the urge became too great: choice is power!!
