Transfer Gossip
See Derby have signed Dwight Gale on a free (non attached after being released by Stoke) Wont do them any harm. Unfortunatley.

Blackpool (A)
Definitely take a point at Blackpool, then three at Wiggin.

Blackpool (A)
Not a chance of that happening. Biggest away on the coupon as they used to say.

Cambridge United (A)
Aye Dempsey & Sheehan played well , Carlos Mendez should have scored a hatrick Took the hardest chance! We overcame the usual shithousery, Ogbeta improved immensely after HT. Maghoma was hit but mainly miss. Subs bench for me Saturday, welcome back GT. Oh and Coleman was very competent.

Charlton (H)
Just back from the pub & dwelling on today , my god we’ve had better days but much worse as well . Twenty minutes of absolute mint football in the second half . I know we fckd up , but the glimpse of ‘ total football ‘ in that spell is inspiring! The challenge for Evatt is enormous , to reproduce that on a consistent basis but I do commend him for trying.

Watched the goals again & can’t really blame the keeper , maybe he could have done better with the second but was severely unsited. Their first was a free header , the last bounced up nicely for the scorer in off the post , Coleman not much chance. The second goal happened as the team were caught having a Kip. Hope Vic is not another on the injured list. Had the rub of the green lately at home , but not today . Move on.

Your right about Iredale & I admire your optimism

Nowt wrong with that team , we become less predictable & more offensive Give the opposition something different to deal with. Square pegs in square holes etc. Won’t happen though ……..

Charlton (H)
The only chink of light , he changed the system at Northampton second half & we performed much better (albeit we were down to ten)

That would be logical ……….but pragmatism isn’t in Evatt’s dictionary is it?
-
Charlton (H)
Aye maybe a one game rest, not bloody five!

I am now praying the snowbomb predicted will be massive at least scrubbing one of the three away games. or am I being paranoid?
-
Charlton (H)
How many games will he miss over the next three weeks ? possibly five ? Great decision to reschedule the Cambridge game so early especially given we have Blackpool & Wiggin in the same period, fckg bonkers.

Wycombe (H)
Dempsey was my mom closely followed by Cogley .Maghoma has the ability just needs to be in the game more , same could be said about Morley. They could both do with Thomason’s mojo. We were probably fortunate to win last night as per Cheltenham. Playing bog standard average & winning is a good combination although it can’t go on forever. Dont see Collins as one of a front two , more a ten or a wide man , along with right wide man Mendes Gomez in a 442 , I know that’s not going to happen is it !

Having had another butchers & noticing the art-deco type building in the background I now think it could be an ex- French colony such as Morocco or Tunisia

Cheltenham (H)
Maybe this is the wake up call that the club need . we’re not as good as we think & having the injuries coming thick & fast at this time at least gives some valid reason for squad strengthening . Always felt this game was a banana skin so quite happy to have negotiated it with three points.

Turin , Italy is my guess

Unquestionably Toshak heading the ball for Cardiff City

Good point , unless it’s not where I think it is !

Actually I think I’ve visited but not when Felgate was playing. Much earlier & pissed wet through for ninety minutes.

Name The Ground
No idea yet again about the venue , but the CB looks like Stuart Houston of the rags , who must have been away from home ?
-
Name The Ground
No idea about the ground , but if that’s not a young John Toshak I’ll eat my pants. He played for Cardiff in the late sixties & destroyed our lumbering centre halves. Proper classy player.
