non renewing s.t. whingers
spot on victor, there are a lot of long time time fans who aint re-newing, it is up to them, we now need to move on as a club and attract new supporters, i could not care less how long and how loyal a bolton fan you have been, supporting the club is for now and the future, most sane and sensible bolton fans surely welcome any new supporters. Couldn't agree more

Rooney Definitely out of WC Group Games
You would think now he will take Defoe, would make it very interesting if he decided to take Johnson, the bidding war could esculate further if he somehow ended up scoring at the world cup. I doubt this very much as i think he showed his intentions bringing on Defoe last night. By the way I was 1 minute earlier on the right forum!

Happy for the Mex
Most definitely. One of his best games. There's no doubt he is a class finisher, just a question whether he fits into our syetem of the big one up front some times. Today proves we can alter our play to suit the needs of our players. Well done borg and big Sam

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
I hate watching us on MOTD or football first when we have lost or drawn, but somehow still put myself through the agony! Tonight will be fantastic Europe here we come again!

today
Today was a great game. I was so pleased that they scored the 4th as lots were leaving, hopefully it might persuade a few to stay around in future games

Are you renewing your season ticket [Poll]
Definitely. Having watched us through the 80's, watched us around the country, and having been a season ticket for the last 15 years there is no way I am giving up now. It's in the blood, it's an addiction I can't give up!

If Boro win Uefa?
Cheers anyway, I suppose 1 away goal and they may be back in it. Good to know it won't effect us if we finish 6th

If Boro win Uefa?
Don't think I need an answer to this now! Considering Basel have just scored 2 goals in a minute!
-
If Boro win Uefa?
If Boro win the Uefa cup does that mean, like it would in the champions league, that they would qualify for next years uefa? And if so which place would be forfitted a league place or FA cup winner/runner up place?
-
So which was the best of the 4 away games?
You're right Yatesy Lad! Hadn't noticed Ste and Hazzy there. Did Ste have to miss a week of 5 a side after this or was it considered a genuine excuse

"Yes Olivia is a good coach but Sam has taken over our classes now with olvia over seeing everything." Is there no end to our managers talents

More bad press
"Didier Drogba, the Chelsea forward at the centre of accusations of unfair play, has not been cautioned for diving in 2005-06" How much validity can an article like that have if this joker hasn't been booked for diving this season?

End of season scenario.....
Couldn't agree more. The Reebok for the last few home games in particular has been like a morgue. It would be easy as so often happens to make excuses, the reebok is shiite, It's not as good as the old days, we played cr#p against Middlesborough, we've got no chance in the next 3/4 games etc etc etc Lets get behind our team for what has been, in this first european season, a fantasic experience. We may just be able to give the team that extra edge which they may well need if we want to experience Europe again.

Would be interesting to hear if anyone else has travelled to an away game sitting with the home fans. I have done it on a few occasions; Bradford, Man City Wolves and West Ham spring to mind. Personally I don't have a problem with it as long as long as people keep pretty quiet and don't make it obvious they are an away fan. I must admit as a season ticket holder in the East Upper there have been numerous occasions when away fans have been sat next us (how this happens so regularly I'm not sure) most have been ok and haven't made this obvious. On the occassions when these people act like compete tw#ts they have been rightly identified and thrown out - when Man U and Man city have visited have been examples of this

No need for surrender/munich/bombers chants
It was quite nice up at Notre damm actually. I particularly liked the old style art work and architecture, there were some horrible and ugly pictures from the 70's and 80's which I am pleased to see they are slowly getting rid of. And some of the present work and future ideas looked fantastic

Football is the new Rugby Union

Football is the new Rugby Union
Everybody has a responsibility to help make grounds better places and more atmospheric. Footballing authorities with regard to the pricing structures and restrictive rules and regulations which have been mentioned previously - how flexible these can be I am not sure. Clubs in terms of listening to the fans. It is clear to see that a number of fans are disgruntled with our club and have suggested a number of ways to help bring back some of the passion - it will be interesting to hear if contact is made with the club and what feedback is given to some of the suggestions mentioned. And finally some of the responsibility lies with us the fans both pre match and during the game. There are some good pubs to drink at before the game (Ok not as good as Manny road!) to set up an atmosphere and this needs to be continued in the ground, persevering with the singing, which I know is difficult with some of the leg-ends who sit there and hardly open their mouths!

Ask this guy As for tits, fanny and wanderers, fantastic! The sooner he's singing this the better!

No need for surrender/munich/bombers chants
Pleased to see my comments have stirred some strong emotions! Like I said from the ofset it was just a personal opinion and everybody is entilted to theirs. In reply to some of the comments about shouldn't be on here or watching football I find that as extreme as the songs!! Am I a member of the "PC Brigade"? No, just a family man who enjoys watching BWFC and would like to do the same with my son when he is old enough! And whether some people like it or not that is the future of our support for BWFC

No need for surrender/munich/bombers chants
The "legend" wouldn't have a clue! Like the idea of desperado's in the new bergerac's. What's all that about new bergerac's, the old one was bad enough! Will have to give it a go now though!
