At the start of the week I had no holidays planned, yesterday I booked for Ibiza and California. Jam butties for next two months.

I always hated cats until my next door neighbours got one (now 3). One of them always climbed into the house through an open window and curled up on the sofa. I've grown really fond of her over the years. However, were I to get a cat and they brought me a bird/mouse/frog, I'd kick the cat up the arse and make sure they never did it again. Get a bell for the collar. Cruel innit.

Been in a foul mood over Christmas, finally snapped out of it thanks to BWFC. House party, Howich, then another house party. 12 hours sleep. Feel much happier today.

I don't know how people can live with themselves for not coming forwad. Thoughts to their families.

Still looking forward to it. I've spent last three days in on my own watching films and seasons of Entourage without booze. I can't wait for January off. I'm genuinely sick of it.

When I started with Bolton Council, early 90's, I used to deal with all the Sub-Contractors. One Christmas I had about 20 bottles of wine/spirits, 4 bottles of perfume, vouchers and all sorts. They stopped it after a few years and now you are not allowed to accept gifts. Last year I had to meet one of the Contractors in the car park so he could pass me a bottle of wine. This year, nothing.

Manchester Council has a lot of prefab housing stock. Although you wouldn't know it now as they've all been externally insulated and look like 'proper' houses.

Not the best of away days. Long journey down and we were all separated on the train, every pub we went to was quiet (apart from Casino flicking peas at us), atmosphere first half was ace, second, not so. Shit journey back too, some of our fans are utter dicks. Still had a belter though!
