If your talking about Yaya then he is way too expensive. After his appearence in the world cup Arsenal apparentley put in a ??7m bid and had it turned down, he is a very talented young player and I would be suprised to see him go anywhere else then one of the top clubs.

I'm not sure many on here would agree with you E. I for one would prefer to play a player that will not sign a contract for 5 months and hopefully get Europe, than being stubborn and keeping him out of the team for 5 months and missing out on Europe. However I think he will go this month and then we won't have the option.

I heard that it works out about ??50 per minute. He's just admitted that his career is over, no matter what he says about wanting to get children over there into the game, the real reason is that he is a greedy c*nt and his wife wants to live in America. IMO he already has all the money that he could possibly need and if he wanted to play a decent standard of football then he would have gone to either and English, Italian or Spanish club and accepted the lower wages (that would still have been very high).

I agree with jayjayoghani. He is our best defender and it would seem stupid to leave him out of the team. IMO we should play our strongest team possible in every league game and for me that includes Ben Haim. I would prefer to see our team win matches and be high in the league and hopefully qualify for europe, rather than our team losing matches because of a weak defence just because somebody wants to move on. If he is dropped and we start to lose matches then I can guarantee there will be people on here complaining, you can't have it both ways.

I have always rated Ben Haim and think he is one of the best around at the moment. However if he won't accept a contract then IMO then if a decent offer comes in (??3/4m) then we should let him go. Also I rate Nigel Reo Coker and think that just because he hasn't played well this season it doesn't mean that he is a bad player, (Kevin Nolan is the same). It could be a dip in form, complacency or just the fact that he is playing in a poor team. Whatever it is a player does not suddenley go from a very good player, to a very bad player in half a season. Also I think he would fit in well with our system and would learn a lot from the likes of Campo, he would also be very good cover for when Speedo decides to finish, which may be the end of the season. If we could do a reasonable deal which saw Ben Haim go to WHU and Reo Coker to come to us then I would be very happy. (As long as we have enough time left in the window to bring in a replacement centre back as it would leave us very short.)

He passed me on the golf course just after the Blackburn game and I just said well done at blackburn. No thankyou or anything like that, just a half heated scandinavian "yah" as he walked passed. However one of my friends dads is a very good mate of his and hasn't a bad word for him. So maybe you just have to get to know him. Although you would of thought he could make a little effort.

He came over to take a corner near us and on hearing his name chanted he clapped and seem to grab the bolton badge. May be just a fake jesture or could mean that he isn't going anywhere and is going to fight for his place.

Took his chances well and was unlucky to miss out on a hat-trick. Also looked like he can pass the ball well aswel.

If you want pace up front then Johan Smith would be the best option. He seems not to have clue when he plays but neither does Gardner when he is upfront.
