  1. No matter how much Henry doesn't like it up here, whenever he gets the ball there is always the chance that he will do something special or take a team to pieces. He's the best player in the world IMO and to see him out is a big bonus for us.
  2. I heard that on the radio and the presenter said that it was some kids off the local estate, but she didn't say a reason. Sounds pretty funny to me.
  3. I remember him coming on and thinking to myself, what a cock! The crowd would have got twice as hyped up and loud if they had brought McGinley on the pitch.
  4. Has anybody got a link for todays game? I have searched through the threads and tried on google and can't find one. Thanks
  5. I know people say that he was loosing it and all that crap. But IMO we could really do with him in the team now, and I recon if he was in the team Anelka's goal tally would be a lot higher than 0.
  6. 3-0. Anelka 2 Diouf 1.
  7. Does this mean that you will have to buy a ticket from the ticket office at Sheffield, or will you just be able to pay at the turnstile?
  8. Or dingles, or jordies, or scoucers, or mancs, or cokneys. Infact anyone that isn't a Bolton fan, they all hate him.
  9. But he can't play on the wing, so it's the only way we could fit him into a 4-4-2 with Campo and Nolan. Unless you take Campo out, but I prefer Campo.
  10. I would go back to 4-4-2 with this team. Jussi Ben Hiam Faye Miete Speed Stelios Nolan Campo Diouf Anelka Davies Or if that doesn't work then put Diouf up front with Anelka, Stelios on the left and Davies on the right.
  11. I'm sure that will solve the scoring problems.
  12. I bet you don't get anyone telling you to shut up and sit down in that crowd. And I bet there are no stewards telling you to sit down every 5 minutes either.
  13. Is it just me or do they not change any of the words. To me it sounded like they were just singing the origional "You are my Sunshine". If they were than that is plain sh1t.
  14. Aye but have you noticed who is still sat 3rd in the league. And Nolan's back next back so it will be things as usual and the wins will come again.
  15. Me + 3 are going. Getting the tickets this week.

What a sh1t day. I have never been so embarresd than having around 2000 imbreds that support a very poor team laughing at us. Apart from Diouf and Ben Hiam every one of our players were terrible. There was no commitment or passion and for a local derby it's sh1t. My only hope is that when Nolan comes back we will go back to our old form and forget about the last 3 games. If anyone ever doubted how much we need Nolan just look at our record without him. Matches played - 3, Won - 0, Drawn - 0, Lost - 3. That moment of madness could cost us a lot.
  17. Aye same here. I was expecting about a 4. I can now shout at refs knowing that I am the perfect ref.
  18. 3-0 us. Diouf 2, Anelka 1
  19. Yea. And Rooney shinned (not sure if it's spelt right, it's the lower part of the leg that you put a pad over when you play football) the finish.
  20. Aye it would raise the atmosphere for the game as well. Legend
  21. Well imo Arsenal have lost the league, or gone out of contention for the league twice at our place, once when they drew 2-2 and when they lost 2-0. Chelsea have won the league at our place once and won at our place another time which although it didn't win them the title it put them far infront.

There was a young kid sat infront of me (about 6 or 7) for the match with what looked to be his grandad. This is in the ESL right near the away fans and I knew the language that would be coming out of my mouth and out of the mouths of the other people around me in the match. I thought that his grandad might take offense to this and that he might say something before the end of the match. However when the match started and the swearing started I saw him whisper into the kids ear (I'm guessing he said just ignore the swearing or something like that). Not once did this guy say or do anything to suggest that he had a problem with it. He obviously knew what the language was going to be like and he accepted that. And it looked like him and the kid had a really good time, despite the language and the result.

I was sat in the ESL in the section under the screen and everbody stood up all through the game (accept when they scored the 3rd and 4th). Not once did a steward come around and ask for us to sit down. Have they finally seen sense?
  24. I agree completely as long as the team don't dwell on it and start to go on a bad run.
  25. Every one accept Pompey After only seeing us win away once in over 20 games, I have now seen 2 in 2. And will hopefully see 3 more at Sheffield Reading and Everton.
