Same Start As Last Year So............
i think he should do. Match practice and also he should get a few goals which will do his confidence no harm.

Our Supporters
Fans were pouring out near me with 15 minutes to go. And it wasn't even a really bad game.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I thought we played quite well. I think the only reason we didn't win was because we couldn't find the right final ball, and also I thought the Boro defense were class, especially Woodgate. There are a few posotives from this game, we passed a lot better, and every time Jussi got the ball he was always looking for the short pass which therefore meant less long balls. Also Anelka looks like he is getting nearer to his best (still a bit to go though) and we have Davies to come back.

Boro Game
No because we don't play wingers, we play people that can interchange from a wide attacking position to being centre forward, if you put a winger in Dioufs role such as Aaron Lennon he wouldn't be half as effective as Diouf. And Traf we all no you have general dislike of Mr Diouf anyway.
-
Boro Game
He mostly plays out wide and causes defenders problems and creates chances.

Boro Game
IMO that should be the team we start with on saturday, although it is a tough choice between Vaz and Stelios. I also though don't think that he will drop Nolan. And people slagging Diouf off, did you go to all 3 games before the Watford match? I did and thought that Diouf has been up there with our best and has put in some decent performances. Fair enough he was sh1t on saturday but so was everyone else. Tomorrow it will be a comfortable 3-0 for Bolton. Anelka Diouf and Speed.

Team News From The Bn.
I think Vaz should start. When he came on last saturday I thought he played well considering what he was playing with. I aslo think that he started a little partnership with Anelka that game and linked up well with him.

Unfortunately All Good Things
Why is everyone so negative? Sam is the best thing that has ever happened for this club. We are an established mid to high table prem side and sides hate playing us. IMO when Sam leaves which he will when the next big job comes up it will not all be doom and gloom. I don't think that we will suddenley be fighting to stay in the premiership. We won't shoot down into league 2. He has made us into such a good strong team, and has done so much for the club in general that when he leaves he will leave behing a very good and well equiped team that any half decent manager will be able to come into and carry on his good work. What I am trying to say is that he has done all the hard work turning us into such a decent club that it will be fairly easy for a new manager to take over and keep us challenging for Europe season after season. Stop being so fcuking negative and enjoy.

Natasha For Match Report
If your going to let her do one, then let someone else do another one for the same match. That way you will be able to laugh at the stupidity of hers but also get a sensible report from the other person.

Jussi's outburst
Exactly. One of the back 4 should make the effort every time Jussi has the ball to move to the wing, come short or find some space somewhere, then instead of hoofing it long to nobody we should pass it into our midfield. We had the class in our team yesterday to easily beat Watford if we had PASSED! All they had was some big guys at the back that were winning every long ball that we played up. We played right into their hands.

Jussi's outburst
I'm not saying it's right what Jussi did but look at it from his point of view. He has been at the club for 8/9 years now, he is currently our longest serving player. He is a very good goalkeeper and has done very well for us. Everybody knows that his kicking is pretty poor but that isn't a main asset for a keeper. Apart from his kicking I would say he is a top quality goalkeeper. So he's watching his team playing so poorly infront of him, and so will not be very happy. Then he does a few bad kicks and the crowd start shouting at him. He then shouts back at them. I know if it was me I would probably do exactly the same but then would regret it later. Leave the lad alone, all you people that have suddenly started hating him for that one little thing should stop being so stupid and think of all the things he has done for the club.

Great Performance Against Watford
I agree. In that 10-15 minutes that he was on he did more and looked more of a threat than all of our players put together for the whole match.
-
Injury Time?
It's the first time I have ever seen the injury time go in our favour. Usually when we are pushing for a winner they will put 2 minutes up. Or when we are 1-0 up and hanging on they will put 5 up. There shouldn't have been anywhere near 4 minutes added on but who's complaining? (accept Watford fans)

Just Got Back...
Speedo was the calmest person in the ground when he stepped up to take that, there was never any chance of him missing it. And like someone said before it wasn't the best performance but it is 3 points and with only playing well once out of 4 games we are still 6th.
-
Just Got Back...
The late penalty has made me completely forget how awful we were. However, is it not good that even though we played so badly we still came away with 3 points? Thats what all the best teams do, pick up the points even on their off days. We also saw glimpses of Anelka's class, Vaz looked very sharp when he came on and Idan Tal played very well. Shame only half the crowd was there to see the goal, but thats there problem.

Watford Predictions
3-0. Anelka and Diouf to score early goals that kill off Watford. The Reebok faithful will be in full voice in the sunshine and then in the second half Anelka will be put through and will burn the tired Watford defense to cooley slot home the 3rd to make the game safe.
-
Stelios And Pedersen
I've not seen much of Tal (just the time when he came on against Charlton to be exact). Is he a midfield player that will play in the central midfield, as part of the 3, or is he more of the attacking midfield player that will play as part of the front 3?
-
Stelios And Pedersen
From Allardyce saying that Teimourain is starting against Watford, it sounds to me like Speedo is covering at left back with Teimourain going in the midfield 3. And I think he will play there with Campo and Nolan with the front 3 being Diouf Anelka and Vaz Te.

I was sure that I was going to open this tread and see the words Mike Riley. Thank God it's not.

Looks Like We Could All Be Owed 50 Quid This Weekend
What new injuries have we got since Charlton?
-
Macedonia V England
Exactly. No yes man would have dropped the Enland captain and biggest name player in the team from the whole squad. Downing is just above average at best for me, he is nowhere near the ??10m price that Totenham were offering and I don't think he is good enough to play at international level, however as soon as Joe Cole is back then he will be out.
-
Reebok Great Games
That is one of my favourites. Made even better because my dad's mates had travelled up from Ipswich and were sat infront of me. They stayed the weekend and I never shut up about it

Inside Info!
Do you ever stop trying to wind people up you fcuking c0ck. And who are you to comment on how reliable peoples sources are, your the biggest liar on the whole forum. I for one believe what Salford Trotter said and think that we have missed an opportunity with Rossi.

The Missing Creative?
If we carried on with the same formation that we usually play for the 6 weeks that Davies is out, with the front line being Diouf---Anelka---Vaz Te, defences will look at it and sh1t there pants. Anelka is lightning quick on and off the ball and will therefore cause problems, Vaz Te is fairly quick on the ball and very quick off the ball which will create space, and Diouf isn't exactly slow and although he isn't quick on the ball he can still beat his man.
