  1. All things said, each of the 4 goals was shocking individual mistakes. We gifted every single goal to them with either slips, poor headers or not tackling. No formation can take account of that. Plus Mills should be made to walk home. Don't understand why every single defender we put out is having a nightmare at the moment. Mjalby needs to get it sorted quickly....
  2. An old classic but certainly lightens the mood.... http://m.liveleak.com/view?i=28e_1351077259
  3. Too many folk on here trying to excuse/explain away the behaviour of the Chelsea "fans". It's wrong - plain and simple. Get a grip. Admit it. Cheese is talking sense.
  4. Actually didnt think Trotter was that bad, relatively*. Better than some games. Vela's shocking pass got him booked. Bannon impressive. Once get Mills, Pratley and CDavies back then we'll have a team good enough for this league. (* yes, was at game).
  5. They were everywhere apart from Lever End - Manny Road paddock, Embankment and Burden Stand. Don't think their crowd was that massive - they just had all nutters.
  6. Painful memories of the rest of the season after beating the barcodes. As a 14 year old the slight aprehension of when the Geordies were in town was nothing compared to the fear when bloody Chelsea Tore the place apart in that last home game - sat in Burnden Stand (lightweight I know) as the seats were flying back and forth. Worse still though was one week later - the trip to the Valley to see the relegation capitulation. The slide didn't stop there of course - only Robbie's goal 5 years later turned the tide. Memories indeed.....
  7. Right that's it. -start the car -call a cab -turn out the lights -etc etc Get rid now.
  8. Let's hope the players don't throw the towel in as quick as some on here.....
  9. Even Fleetwood will be a league above us next season.
  10. #parttimefanthesedays. But dearly me that was dire. Mind you they weren't any better. Yes unbeaten run extended but sorry, to revert to 451 and play for a 0-0......90 mins of my life and 23 quid I'll never get back. No ambition.
  11. Reckon Zidane would still walk into most Championhip sides and a few Premiership teams. Class.
  12. Booooo. Steve Clarke in - needs a damn good coach to make the best of what limited talent we have.
  13. Entertaining, gave it a go, but dear me - front to back defensively shambolic. #1 - free shot - where we're defenders/midfielders throwing themselves to block #2 - Ream forgot he was LB and left the man at the back #3 - unlucky - fair enough #4 - Baptiste caught up field but no one (Pratley, Davies or Knight) had the brains to fill in against the bloke who was ripping us apart #5 - all given up / gone AWOL For the defence and coaching staff we have we've found our true level......
  14. Oldham - bugger, too slow. Who was first one?
  15. Leeds? But can't remember us playing em in TC's era.......
  16. Great games, as were all the Wigan away ones at this time. Think this one at Springfield Park was a few days after Chernobyl. Remember the chat going up when it started raining - "we've got radiation, we've got radiation you've not etc". Quality.
  17. Well said Dougie. He's obviously got some cards marked. But, he must drop these players whoever they are NOW. Lack of ability can be excused. Lack of effort or poor attitude behind the scenes can't.
  18. Was there that day in the Forest end with mates. Two recollections stick in memory: 1) Arrived at 11am - streets behind Forest end largely empty, streets behind Liverpool end busy, with folks sat out drinking cans in the sun (not wrong in that) 2) 2.30pm in ground - Forest end practically full, Liverpool end practically empty. As others more than said many causes of this, but hard to believe the above didn't contribute.....
  19. Might shut the moaners up ...... For a minute or so at least
