  1. Don't remember much about the game. I do remember wondering why lads were climbing the burnden terrace fencing when the gates were open. Those police horses steamed in near me and one lad had an epileptic fit. Did one of their lot climb the floodlight pylon during the game or did I dream it?
  2. From a home further West?
  3. Agreed, if a new owner came along and said they would punt £50m but not a penny more I don't think many would complain.

Agree with this and for me a sign he is very frustrated not just with the QPR game but his situation as a whole. Who knows how long he will stick it out for.

So with the talent and ability to walk into our first team and probably our highest earner, why isn't he getting a kick?

Not just having a tattoo, it's more or less another clubs badge then posting it on social media for a scouse love in.

Good to see he's 100% focused on getting back in the team.
  9. You can't compare the challenge Lennon faces with Allardyces start with us. Having a negative cash balance to deal with in this era, Lennon has got both hands tied behind his back.
  10. Can we still boo the £4/5k players? I can't wait to voice my displeasure.

These threads make me realise how much I hope we can soon make our own history to look back on without relying on the past.
  12. Blair and Brown had absolute power, which of course corrupts absolutely. They set off with some very good people round them.
  13. Anyways this Crobyn fella, I don't think you can blame him. He has had these views for a while and not changed his stance on them which cannot be said for others. You can only blame the members who voted him in, it feels more like a protest vote, a bit like the SNP landslide, people just wanted something different without thinking or caring what it was they were voting for. For the second time in a row, Labour members have made a glaring error putting left wing ideologies before reason and for this they will be taken back another 10 years beyond where Milliband could dream. That said, if he survives the next 6 moths, which I doubt, the (anti) social media will probably vote for him next election for a laugh because he's different without knowing any more about him other than he's got a beard. The only way Labour can get into power is by being fronted by a Tory with a red rosette, without this miggul England wont even look twice, as proved by Brown and others before him.

I heard 3rd hand (man in pub etc.) that we need to sell by Christmas under the current financial structure. There are four parties interested in buying but ED wants guarantees certain amounts will be spent on playing staff by the new owners if he writes off his debt, ED has nothing left to give. Gartside is working his bollocks off trying to keep the club functioning. Not my words!!
  17. Plus you might as well delete Spearing and Medo from the list as Lennon has made his mind up on them and I would be surprised if they survived the loan window. So with Pratley and Davies's injury records we actually look a little light.
  18. Weren't we 3-0 up at half time, must have been a few stiff drinks passed round.
  19. Clubcall says he's on his way.
  20. Who / what have I just voted for?
  21. Straight fucking red that should have been.
  22. A bit eauverpriced me thinks.
  23. Where are you going to play him, just in the garden or down the park as well?
