Change Of Owner?
Its possible but I suppose irrelevant now, whether the debt is £10m or £170m its gone, our problem is identifying a sound investor with credentials and a long term plan. Always thought the whole £100m redevelopment proposal was a ruse to increase the clubs potential value. How much does Allardyce go on in his book about the club lacking ambition? Looks a bit silly now.

Often thought John Taylor may have helped Eddie along the way. I doubt whether we the tax man or the Sunday Times will ever understand the transactions between here Bermuda and the Isle of Man.

Change Of Owner?
It's now possible we will have a long term strategy and some direction under new ownership. It's not only about money but admittedly it will be difficult without major player investment. Worst case scenario would be new opportunist owners buying an asset on the cheap to promote their own interests without the club's values at heart. Time will tell.

Lad I know emigrated and needed to learn quickly, he was convinced he learned quicker watching Spanish kids TV programmes than lessons but he was from Leeds.

Wanderers V Bristol City
IMO the fans have been fuckin brilliant, both in terms of numbers and in terms of tolerance. The owner, chairman, manager should count themselves lucky, so soon after relegation there is acceptance of our position and realistic expectations. Okay everyone appreciates what ED has done but the club can't simply stand still waiting for the next donor. The longer we wait the faster we sink. It's a bad situation all round and no individual is to blame but it is likely to be a long painful journey. After accepting we now have to live within our means Im surprised no one has suggested the fans run/own the club, maybe it's a sign we are more realistic or is it just apathy all round? Before people start slagging off the idea I am not saying it's the way forward but there's usually a group getting £700 gift aid with the intent.

30 Years Ago Today
The entire footballing world forgot there was a bommy night on and headed down to Burnden Park to see us lose 3-0 to Darlington. When Warren Joyce narrowly missed a free kick the crowd jumped in unison and slightly compressed the earths crust. Entrance was free, you just had to pass the 'real fan' test to get in.

Managers
Is it possible some of the issues behind the lack of funds could reflect a lack of confidence in Lennon? He is quoted today 'Can I change it? No. I have to work with these players' Some of the strongest words that can come out of a managers mouth.
