I'm not sure you can label him as a stereotype modern day footballer. He does loves his club and seems to have strong politcal convictions. A lot of scousers are lukewarm towards the England team. Liverpool fans used to boo the National Anthem at Wembley Finals. I'm not sure if they still do. He is obviously very bitter about England, and I think there are some sour grapes there, but you wont get any Liverpool fans thinking his is a mercenery.

Reckon a prayer room might get more use at Anfield or Old Trafford. They seem to have a large amount of Asian fans (some of whom must be muslim). Can't see Manyoo having one though, they have a Chapel and the Tarriers aren't known for their tolerance of other Faiths. Place I used to works nights had one.
