Today is the first day there’s a nationalist first minister . she can’t decide anything without consent from the deputy first minister so it’s more symbolic. the fact is a Sinn Fein first minister even more so quite historic considering in my life time people from the nationalist tradition didn’t always have a vote and the changing of electoral boundaries to prevent electoral success for those that could really prevented any real chance of any nationalist from any part getting a seat in power .
