  1. Use it at work to pinpoint locations for people who can’t use or access grid ref co ordinates. Brilliant for more rural locations but also in urban settings so people can double check they’re at the right place and to locate services/ utilities etc use it to find a pitch car parks when kids are playing in strange places and the postcode just gives an area etc excellent tool
  2. I were right about that saddle though

See, I knew if I asked on here I’d be given the green light for a beer within a few posts 😄 cheers, I’ll stop whining about it now 😄 but, just to confirm, it’s fucking sore

Aye the only reason for the diet change is just to prevent a flare up for long enough to get the test done in order to get the preventative stuff but it’s literally every two weeks now, never known anything like it

Aye foot off was a serious consideration on Weds night , given colchein but only after a flare up , heard of this allupurinol but they won’t give it to me until I have a blood test and they won’t do the test until I’m 2 weeks clear of a flare up , trouble is not had 2 weeks clear since September , it’s a fucking nightmare tbh , as you can probably imagine.

Sorry to bump an old thread and disturb the intellectual political debates currently underway , but as a recent member of this gout club I can confirm spiders comments above to be true Jesus fucking Christ, I’ve never felt anything like this and can’t even get preventative treatment due to they won’t do a blood test while swollen up . anyone have any tips? I haven’t had beer, red wine, meat , tuna crisps or basically anything fucking enjoyable for weeks now and still it flares up every couple of weeks , just before a blood test usually. no exaggerating, I can’t even get a sock on never mind a shoe when it happens I’ve obviously tried the bloon and chucking myself down stairs to no avail, so await the WW medical dept advice with grateful anticipation
  7. They have them but people ask “ how does it know where I’m going” 😄 no entry signs should suffice but don’t so physical measures the only way to guarantee
  8. Service stations are prime candidates for people not paying attention and going back the way they came , but I’ve also seen people trying to turn onto exit slips all over the place , just lack of attention or listening to sat nav’s saying take next left , when it means the next legal left or left in 300 yds or whatever gator teeth barriers the only way to stop it but the number of incidents don’t justify it but service stations should be made to install them imo
  9. Totally agree , so long as there’s money to be made and people wanting to come then it will always happen. always has . Listened to a program the other day about smugglers in the 16th century smuggling refugees into London from France , it’s not a new phenomenon by any stretch .

The wet room in Breightmet will do a cracking job for you, start to finish . wont be the cheapest I’d say ,but it will be good. I’d definitely recommend at least a visit/ quote from them. https://www.thewetroom.co.uk
  13. Iranians arent Arabs ? its not an Arabic country or people sorry if I’ve missed your point there like but I don’t get it
  14. You passengers on the bus won’t 😄
  15. Yeh ,engineering difficulties Covid ( of course ) and finding a graveyard didn’t help, this is where Dimron is correct, as years ago they’d have just ploughed through that without any thought, today it’s all consideration for the environment, neighbours, workers lives and historic importance. Tarts but the skill set to achieve it was still there .
  16. Good program on bbc2 now showing how “ shit” this country is at infrastructure, some may find interesting, the story of Crossrail. over budget but a fantastic engineering feat
  17. But when you think staffing is paid 24 hours , even on minimum wage it’s more than that , granted there’s not one per resident , but there’ll be ratios and with that, food, utilities and of course profit for the owners etc etc , can see where the costs come in.
  18. Aye I know , my comment was in response to Bolty and his “ sort of thing Corbyn would’ve done” following his “ cosying up comment “ well aware of Michel Ds bollox up of the situation , like a grandad who doesn’t understand how the internet works or something.

  21. Suppose Sunday was double time and Saturday time and half. Good choice
  22. 6 , had Sunday off.
  23. And add in the fact oceans were also only created by a similar unlikely chain of events prior to all that …
  24. That woman on the bridge over there was lucky Bon Jovi was walking past and not Van Halen …
  25. I like that place, really good, if the proposed development does happen and the view from the windows there is of a street leading up to the town hall , rather than the current view of people asleep outside primark , I reckon it will be goldmine
