  2. She's a looker alright!
  3. They've arrived in 'That London'
  4. Hmmmm.... reminds me of someone. http://www.google.co.uk/url?url=http://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DBO8EpfyCG2Y&rct=j&sa=X&ei=0oScTevJGNGx8QPnl8XmBg&ved=0CB4QuAIwAQ&q=not+the+nine+o%27clock+news+constable+savage&usg=AFQjCNHpZlq8tFn-zKs3T9p3-9ea-3yAgw
  5. Popped in yesterday for Fish, Chips and Curry sauce for lunch. Bloody hell! I was still full after a four hour drive back to London! Good fish, well cooked.
  6. A five-year-old girl and a shopkeeper have been injured in a shooting at a grocery store in south London. Police were called to reports of shots fired in Stockwell Food and Wine shop in Stockwell Road on Tuesday night. The man, aged 35, and the girl are both in a critical but stable condition in hospital. Police said the victims were thought to have been caught in the firing line of a gang who were targeting two youths sheltering in the shop. I hope when these cowards are caught they beat their genitalia with barb wire wrapped table legs for five hours a day, every day, for the rest of their lives.
  7. I heard they were short of seats but that's surely not right. I used the train and tube to commute for 9 years in London. A 20 mile journey (as the crow flies) took a minimum of 1 3/4 hours and regularly took 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Each way. Every day.
  8. I thought a fuller stadium was what was wanted? Surely people coming to the game to share in the success (and possibly see us knock another relegation nail in Wet Spam's coffin) is a good thing?
  9. My bald Uncle had 15 Rabbits tattoed on his head. Apparently, from a distance they looked just like Hares. Anyway Diddles, a little bedtime reading for you. http://www.orcca.on.ca/~elena/useful/bunnies.html
  10. Mine is a 1927 end of terrace. It may be with calling the water board as mine is covered for fresh and foul. Good luck. See below: I have a leak on my property, who do I need to speak to, to get it repaired? Where the leak is coming from, will determine whether we can help or whether you need to get your own plumber. Please read through the Private Leak Repair Scheme leaflet. If you think you are eligible for a United Utilities repair, please call our Service Enquiries department on 0845 746 2200, between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, 8am and 6pm on Saturday, or 8am and noon on Sunday. We will arrange an appointment for one of our representatives to assess the leak. If we find it is eligible, we will arrange for our contract partner to repair the leak for you.
  11. Are you on a party sewer? If so, how old's your house? If it's over a certain age (and would depend on the water board) you may be able to get them to pay for it on a covenant.
  12. Au contraire. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/2978071.stm
  13. No, No, No you're missing the point. Go into BabyGap, Mothercare etc. Cop for one the hottie assistants and tell her how clueless you are at this stuff. You get sympathy, good advice and a peek down the old blouse for your trouble. Gift voucher? Pah! Oh, and a tub of vaseline for the cracked nipples.
  14. FA Cup semi-final ticket? Failing that, as a parent you can never have too many babygrows. Also, try getting clothes for 3 months plus as they'll have shedloads of new born. Alternatively buy something nice for the new mum and dad as they (especially dad) may feel a little sidelined. HTH
  15. I've spoken to Phil Gartside on the 'phone. He's a massive fan of the club as well as the Chairman. Top man.
  16. ...and Arsenal. Watching her arse in a pair of skin tight jeans up the steps leading out of Highbury is a sight I will never, ever forget.
  17. Aw come on, that comment was begging that response!

  19. You may remember I ran the marathon last year. I have a place for this year but injuries over Christmas have left me short of time to be ready for the distance. I know a lot of the boys on here are in the construction game. I am running Paddock Wood Half Marathon at the end of March and was hoping to raise some money for the Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund They are a registered charity (No. 205670) which gives financial support to construction workers and their families at times of illness or accident. I have set up a Justgiving website so people can donate what they want. Just follow the link. Could I ask that you put this up as a Sticky? Thanks in advance.
